And they won't get to.If the Nats bullpen can't get two outs with a five run lead, they don't deserve to play another game.
I was the fat kid on the high school tennis team who was gassed after a set so I can't really relate.Come on guys---you've played sports. He may be completely exhausted and said he had a few pitches left and allowed Doolittle to get a few extra warm-ups.
How did you make the team if you were gassed after a set?I was the fat kid on the high school tennis team who was gassed after a set so I can't really relate.
His mom is Lori Loughlin. How did you make the team if you were gassed after a set?
Ha.I was the fat kid on the high school tennis team who was gassed after a set so I can't really relate.
Wearing a brown belt with black shoes, or black belt with brown shoes, doesn't make you look original. It makes you look like an idiot. Why exactly? Asking for a friend (and his screen name is E5)...
Good clubhouse guy.How did you make the team if you were gassed after a set?
fair enough this pen just scares me ad stras had such a great game. wash oping he would be able to get the CGHa.
But folks thinking that just because he threw 105 pitches that he can throw 115...in a the most pressure-filled situation he's ever been in...
Where do you come down on cargo shorts? Also asking for a friend (and I don't wear brown and black together but that is simply because my I dress myself like I own adult Garanimals)Wearing a brown belt with black shoes, or black belt with brown shoes, doesn't make you look original. It makes you look like an idiot.
The only think I can potentially think of is relievers tend to like work. Doolittle did throw and inning on Sunday, but that is the only inning he had thrown in the series, and he might have been feeling a bit rusty, I don't think the pitches tonight hurt him for tomorrowReally not getting it.
Having both Hudson and Doolittle fully rested tomorrow, plus Sanchez and Scherzer would be great.
At least give Stras a baserunner.
Alive?
I largely stayed out of this discussion, but wanted to add that this is persuasive to me.You are privileged to interfere with the throw if you follow the rule. If you don’t, you aren’t. Run in the lane, exit the lane on you last step, and if the ball hits you, you’re good.
At around 100 pitches and up 5 runs, if he was able to start the inning and no sign of trouble yet. I’d have left him in. You don’t send a pitcher out to start an inning to get a reliever extra warmup pitches.Come on guys---you've played sports. He may be completely exhausted and said he had a few pitches left and allowed Doolittle to get a few extra warm-ups.
His HR trot was all icyRendon is so chill, this interview could just as easily be in March.
This. I love baseball. I like both Greinke and Scherzer so it’s going to be tough to see one of them lose.Game 7! One of the best things in sports if your team isn't involved, see you back here in 20 hours.
Pedro can help him I think. Couple of sessions.Strass is just mister personality isn'the?
That stat was so weird. 1400+ postseason series in MLB, NHL and NBA, and this is the VERY FIRST ONE where the away team has won the first 6 games. The odds of a series going at least 6 games is about 63% just off a binomial distribution, so you'd expect that ~880 series would have gone at least 6.Strangeness continues. No home wins in this series. Game 7's are fun!
So you're simply disagreeing with the decision then? But you do understand that, quite obviously, the Nats had a reason to send him out there for only a few pitches, whether I named the right one or not?At around 100 pitches and up 5 runs, if he was able to start the inning and no sign of trouble yet. I’d have left him in. You don’t send a pitcher out to start an inning to get a reliever extra warmup pitches.
I don’t think Greinke is up for it. Managers are as important as the players in Game 7. Slow hook loses the series.This. I love baseball. I like both Greinke and Scherzer so it’s going to be tough to see one of them lose.
Someone should put him and Trout in the same interview together some day.Strass is just mister personality isn'the?
It's Yankees Elimination Day wherever senryuu are shared.Strangeness continues. No home wins in this series. Game 7's are fun!
I'm not entirely sure why we're rooting against him so hard. I mean, we had to gin up a bunch of antipathy when he was on the 2013 Tigers (gave up 1 run in 8 innings), and perhaps last year (slapped him around a bit in 2 starts), but he's not a bad guy, and a likely HOFer.Verlander L is the delicious cherry on top of this game.
