Come on man, that tweet is 5 hours old, you know we've got the info already.
Why is this in the Ghost injury thread?
Because talking about options to replace Ghost are a legitimate topic of discussion for this thread
Otherwise this thread would be ... Ghost is injured ... he had surgery ... he's out for the season ... close the thread
Except it was an article about a practice squad wide receiver.
Sorry, fellas. I moved that post here by mistake. It's moved back to the roster thread.Ah, thanks, I thought he quoted the Bailey article
The info that I thought was applicable that hadn't been posted in this thread was the pronunciation of Younghoe's name.Come on man, that tweet is 5 hours old, you know we've got the info already.

GOOD POINT.The info that I thought was applicable that hadn't been posted in this thread was the pronunciation of Younghoe's name.
If you do, please feel free to edit out your post.I guess our coach is like his owner, he prefers an old hoe to...
and yes, I am thoroughly ashamed of myself.
My post in no way shape or form is any comment upon or denigrates either of our 2 new kickers. It merely uses the coincidence of one name to make a bit of fun of our coach who everyone knows is predisposed to have considerably more confidence in veterans, as opposed to younger players. The bulk of the snark is aimed at a billionaire who, self evidently, in his later years is so alone. Clearly he was not looking for intimacy or even cursory social interaction, the man just wanted to get off. There is absolutely nothing wrong or even shameful about feeling like that, every male on the planet has been there. What the hell Bob, you couldn't find a decent sale on Amazon on a refurb Dyson? Couldn't wait a whole day ? Afraid you wouldn't be able to figure out how to assemble it or find the start switch? The continuum from that to setting up a budding nubile supermodel in an apartment who could be visited discretely is vast. Bob is clearly slowing down, but no evidence of senility. The fact that he's this socially isolated, considering his vast resources, is ineffably sad.If you do, please feel free to edit out your post.

Koo's attempt was blocked after the "icing." He also missed a game-winning kick and another FG the following week. He actually made all his kicks in weeks 3 and 4, but the Chargers went back to Nick Novak anyway.I’m pretty sure I remember Koo’s first game. I think he made a winning or tying FG, but the opposing coach called a TO very late and he had to kick again and missed. Seemed like his confidence was rattled after.
Ah thank you. Just remembered wanting to hug him and say it’s not your fault.Koo's attempt was blocked after the "icing." He also missed a game-winning kick and another FG the following week. He actually made all his kicks in weeks 3 and 4, but the Chargers went back to Nick Novak anyway.
I got the sense that Koo may have outperformed Nugent on the tryouts but signed the veteran to replace Ghost due to experience. BB mentioned how a kicker has to know more than just to kick & may be thinking Koo may work out better in the long run.
I've been deleting jokes about his last name. Among other reasons, it's not pronounced the way it looks. It's pronounced more like "hwae".Since hearing how it's pronounced, this is all I can think of when I hear his name:

I'm sure this isn't motivated reasoning whatsoever!I got the sense that Koo may have outperformed Nugent on the tryouts but signed the veteran to replace Ghost due to experience. BB mentioned how a kicker has to know more than just to kick & may be thinking Koo may work out better in the long run.
I was thinking the same thing, before they even signed Koo.I got the sense that Koo may have outperformed Nugent on the tryouts but signed the veteran to replace Ghost due to experience. Same.My last name can also be turned into a dick joke. And in my own language, to make matters worse.
I'm a simple man with a simple wish to one day own a Koo game jersey.I'm sure this isn't motivated reasoning whatsoever!
I'll be buying two for my daughters the day he makes the 45.I'm a simple man with a simple wish to one day own a Koo game jersey.
Get one for yourself that reads Ka-choo and one for the Mrs. that reads Robinson.I'll be buying two for my daughters the day he makes the 45.
There's a Finnish hockey club called KooKoo. Just got promoted to the Finnish first division (the Liiga) last season as well.Just to make matters worse, Koo sounds a lot like asshole (cú) in Portuguese.
Has anyone tried to market those jerseys to Brazilian bros (whatever slang term might apply) the way “COCKS” bar caps became big in the US back in the ‘90s?There's a Finnish hockey club called KooKoo. Just got promoted to the Finnish first division (the Liiga) last season as well.
So there.
That clip really illustrates how good Bethel is. He had 2 guys on him and still easily shed both of them to be in position to make the tackle. It’s kind of funny because the addition of Bethel was like the ST version of adding a #1 to ease the coverage on Jules. There will be times when Slater will only have 1 guy on him, which basically means that poor guy is screwed. They also timed it perfectly. That was pretty much a recovery away from being a perfect ST play.

Not sure who's available in tryouts that we can count on to be any better than we have now. Yesterday wasn't exactly the best weather to kick in.But back to kicking, Mike Nugent does not look like a good option. Hope to hear about more tryouts this week.
They probably had most of them in last time. I was trying to figure out whether there were any trade possibilities out there for a replacement level NFL kicker, and it's surprising how many kickers are locked up for multiple years. The only possibilities in teams that might trade a kicker are Bryant and Bullock, and I doubt the Bengals are going to move Bullock. They don't seem to like to make moves. And even if they did, he's signed for next year, so we'd have two kickers under contract for next year. Not sure who's available in tryouts that we can count on to be any better than we have now. You guys are just baiting Seoul at this point. It's not even fair. Not sure who's available in tryouts that we can count on to be any better than we have now. Yesterday wasn't exactly the best weather to kick in.
I love Nugent and he's the best kicker in the world and there's no way I'd like to see a young, healthy, capable Asian-American kicker back on this team to save the team from certain doom. You guys are just baiting Seoul at this point. It's not even fair.
It's nice to see you fair and balanced in your love for the members of the team.I love Nugent and he's the best kicker in the world and there's no way I'd like to see a young, healthy, capable Asian-American kicker back on this team to save the team from certain doom.
