Someone needs to make some birdies behind Webb. Charl got to -11 for a hole, but for the most part everyone is stuck in the mud at -10.
It is moot with Webb running away, but these 2 are going to have a later tee time tomorrow than I bet they thought they would. Nobody has passed them.
Charl just birdied 18 so that speith and tiger are in the same pairing. Looks to be a fun dog fight for 2nd...

Some crazy low scores out there today. Koepka shot a 63, which included an albatross on #16 from 208 yards.
Yep, Aphibarnrat is -8 thru 15, Noren is -7 thru 15, Rose is -7 thru 17....When Nick Watney shoot -5, 67, you know there's some scoring to be had.
But...this is what's so great about this course. Aphibarnrat just put two in the water on 17 and made a 7.

The USGA is fucked. Apparently Els and Furyk have been given exemptions to Shinnecock, but Goosen (two-time US Open champ and defending champion at Shinnecock) has not. Try and figure that one out.
The Masters gives lifetime exemptions. The Open gives exemptions into your 60s.
