For now, the list of teams with a potential interest in Jay Cutler starts with...the New York Jets.

I'm sure Kristin Cavilliri is all sorts of psyched about a move to NYC.Jay Cutler is the perfect QB for a franchise that wants to tank but has to pretend to their fan base that they are actually trying to win.
He'll fit right in with Brady torching the rest of their secondaryAditi KinkhabwalaVerified account @AKinkhabwala 31m31 minutes ago
Darrelle Revis makes pitch to his hometown Steelers. Says playing for them "would be a dream come true."
As Darnold was a redshirt freshman last year, has there been any talk of him declaring after the upcoming season? The Jets goal is to suck in '17 and position themselves to win the Sam Darnold lottery..
Scam for Sam
No cupcakes for the Jets. Cupcakes are for closers. The Pats HAVE to bring Revis in for some cupcakes.
Here's the money quote:
We're here to serve. This thread title needs the word "cupcakes" in it somewhere.
Getting veterans signed at short money/years is a wise strategy. The Twitter has Jets signing Clairborne (Dallas corner) for 1 year 5 million bucks. We need all the secondary help we can get so I like the deal. This guy can't stay healthy but maybe he's due (that's how it works, right???)
Isn't Woody sitting this one out in London?Despite what happened, I still "like" Mac & Bowles duo. We'll see how much patience Woody has, but those PSLs aren't selling themselves.
Inspired title change - playoff form already! We're here to serve.
And well done on the thread title, well done....5. Reports of the Jets having concerns with linebacker Dont’a Hightower’s physical after he re-signed with the Patriots seem convenient. Something tells me those concerns would have never been revealed publicly if Hightower had said yes to the Jets' five-year, $62.5 million maximum value contract proposal. Sounds like a case of sour cupcakes.
Reiss' theory of single players: if you liked it then you should have put a ring on it.Even mild mannered Mike Reiss can't resist a cupcake rim shot:
And well done on the thread title, well done....
Manish Mehta and Ron Borges are still arguing the Jets won that deal, I expect...Another interesting bit from Reiss' article:
The last trade the Patriots made with the Jets brought Belichick to New England.
was it Manish or another Jets writer that recently went back to correct the article they wrote the day BB left town? It was pretty good.Manish Mehta and Ron Borges are still arguing the Jets won that deal, I expect...
SB51. Alrighty. Can't believe how much these guys duck up tweets. Left it as duck.Albert BreerVerified account @AlbertBreer 5h5 hours ago
And just to put a bow on it, McCown gets $2M to make playoffs, $1.5M to make SB51, and $1.5M to win it
Well, tanking for one year doesn't really work that often in the NBA either...but what other options do they have? Plus there's no lottery to contend with so winning 3 games is a lot better than winning 6 or 7.How often does tanking work in the NFL? It's not the NBA, where you can get by on like 2.5 good players; you need like 20.

Or it's an accurate tweet and McCown has Master P as an agent.SB51. Alrighty. Can't believe how much these guys duck up tweets. Left it as duck.
Part of the problem is the same problem as the NBA - sometimes you get a Manning or Cam, but sometimes it's just a Stafford or Alex Smith, and sometimes it's a JaMarcus or David Carr or Tim Couch. The other problem is, now what? Indianapolis got a generational QB prospect in Luck, but they've struggled to put a consistent winner. Ditto Cam's Panthers. Peyton's Colts were a .500 team in his first four seasons. You put a franchise QB on a crappy team, and all you have is a mediocre team.Well, tanking for one year doesn't really work that often in the NBA either...but what other options do they have? If you get a franchise QB it's worth it.
What do you call five guys yelling "Look out!"?The only questions is whether the OL can keep him healthy for any length of time.
