Bjork looks a little tentative and is taking way too long to get his shot off. The talent is apparent though - once he relaxes out there he’ll fit in perfectly on that line.I'm sold on 63/37/10
Is there any truth to the "new ice is bad ice" theory and that it just needs to age a bit to wear in/compress/something? Or am I making things up again?Ice looks like shit tonight.
It is indeed@ Detroit tonight. Believe the game is on NHL Network.
LOL, WUT?IIRC, McAvoy was given a lot of defensive zone starts, which could account for some of the disparity. Definetely a trend to watch through and not a good one if it continues.
Dude is a stud, and currently the Vegas favorite for the Calder. Impressive showing. No, no. Those are tremendous. More impressive if indeed was buried with d zone starts.
I don't think he has a ton of upside, but he seems like he's at least a solid complimentary player right now. Him and Bjork playing on the top 2 lines could really give them a competent bottom 6 this year8 of DeBrusk's 9 shot attempts have been from the high danger area. No other Bruin has more than 3 this preseason.
Bjork will try his best not to be offended by the above. That forward group makes me incredibly turgid.
Amazing to think the potentially best F of them all (Senyshyn) may join the team later this year as well.
