The conversation of generational talent starts and ends with Bo Jackson.

Bo had chunks of Barry Sanders in his stool. And I'm a huge Sanders fan.
Bo played 25 years ago-he's from a different generation.

Ya, when I mentioned Tomlinson and Peterson I thought it was obvious that guys from the 80s and early 90s were not being considered.

A "generation" in football is about 12 years.

I was picking up what you were putting down.

I also agree. LDT and AP are the clear cut choices. I also think Priest Holmes had a real chance if not for injuries. His 3 seasons in KC were some of the most prolific by a RB. He was LTD before LTD.

Good for him.  Glad I don't have to sit around the rest of my football watching days wishing he got a ring.

What a character.

My favorite moment from the podium was when he first walked up, the MC says something like "And next we have...Rob?"  And Gronk goes: "Sup?"

I loved how even as excited as he was he couldn't escape BB-speak.

Revis was interviewed by Irvin, Sanders and  Faulk. Before Blount & Browner crashed the interview, they asked Revis why he "kept working hard through adversity?"

The answer was about one full minute of (paraphrased) "I am a football nerd, I love football and I just won the Super Bowl. Which is awesome. But I'll be working on Tuesday."

It is basically the same answer Gronk gave to the same question.

They don't know how to do anything else.

The are football crazy people.

Like their coach.

And QB.

God only knows what Gronk did last night to celebrate. Can we confirm that he is well and still in AZ with the team? I wouldn't be shocked if he woke up in Bangkok or something like that this morning.

I love how that thing that looks like a small glass in his hand is-if my eyes are correct- a bottle of patron.

Saw it. Pretty funny - typical Gronk stuff. Talked a little about the fight at the end of the game. Mostly talked about party bus.

Does TMZ basically follow Gronk around at all times?
Probably. And why wouldn't they? Any time they're filming him, there's probably a 97% chance they'll get something really entertaining. Everyone loves Gronk. Even the biggest Pats haters I know think he's hilarious and wish that he played for their team.

My first feeling after the game was total elation. Then, nervousness that Gronk wouldn't make it out of Glendale alive. Good to see he's okay.

He's fine, and in 9 months we can start pre-draft coverage of his illegitimate offspring.

He's a monster the football looks like a little nerd ball in his mossy mitts.
His own head looks tiny next to those second amendments.

I don't think anyone would accuse a Belichick team of not being a well-organized militia.

I wouldn't bet on that. This is a guy sensible enough to get his own party bus. That means no DUIs, ever. He probably travels around with a couple dozen rubbers on him at all times. Heck, he should probably come out with his own brand of them. They'd be so popular that baby mama drama would drop by at least 40% within a year or so nationwide.

You crazy.
Hey, SOMETHING, has managed it thus far. Besides, can you just image the possibilities for laugh-until-your-stomach-hurts commercials for Gronk Brand condoms? This has to happen.

Clearly when a gronk sperm reaches the point of insemination, the egg just blows the fuck up.

That seems like it would really hurt.

But, I guess he'd ALWAYS be ready to go!
