Guerrero is a snake oil salesman right out of Huck Finn--and Tom is Huck (whereas Tom Sawyer would nave been in on the con). Hilariously, Tom will play until he's 45, misattributing it all along to his acid-base balance and tomato-free diet.
And he'll get over BB banishing his friend, as he got over Branch, Mankins, Welker, etc.
