So he has a good shot at par now, but I take it that means if he gives one back on 18, then Lee or Piercy would be in the last group as they finished first at -2.
I think he was complaining because he felt rushed, because the group ahead of him is so far ahead.

Good, I am working today and can't watch. I was watching yesterday and Spieth's round made me think they need to have a shot clock. He would just stand there forever waiting for the wind to go down

Spieth is pretty slow in general. Once he's over the ball he pulls the trigger quickly but he takes his time deciding on shots. Kinda gets away with it because he's animated and people get interested in the Spieth/Greller chatter.

Considering that all 3 guys in that group are under par, maybe taking your time is the way to go?

Basically the group is on the clock because the one shaft length amateur is playing slow as hell. So Speith is being timed and can't back away and wait for the wind to die. He's got to swing within the time clock. And he's pissed. I'd beat that kids ass Bob Barker style and throw him in the lake but...that's just me.
I know they are a hole behind. Heard the kid was a slow player. It may be Jordan just waiting all day for good wind.
A couple holes ago, Spieth stood over his ball three separate times, waiting for the wind....over a putt. He is not without blame for the slow play
So will DeChambeau be the Masters' Paul Dunne, or can he handle the pressure with science? I hear he likes the science.

Spieth bogeys 17 to move to -4. That brings the +6 guys back for the weekend, a group that includes Bubba and Zach.
I predicted a Spieth -4 finish. It has been a rough day for these guys. Tomorrow is going to be awesome.
