I think I miraculously pulled off the victory. I don't know how, but Padraig Harrington dunked it and put Russel Knox into second that would have won, then made a great putt on the 18th to force a playoff that knocked Knox down to third and temporarily out of the lead, then won it outright and gave me the narrow victory (I think!). All in all, a crazy and exciting finish for that tourney.

Paul Casey's been a good fourth round pick for me so far - 19 points in the last two weeks, and his result this week squeaked him into the field at Doral.

Ugh Poulter's collapse is killing me. Thought I might actually squeak it out this week.

That said, if he keeps playing like this, I'll be happy.

Seriously.

Not sure if it's a good pick or lucky pick, but either way Paul Casey looks healthy for once.

I actually had him ranked as a late second/early third round pick, but gambled that he would last longer because he hadn't played a full season here before. He had a very good season in the U.S. last year statistically.

Yep, we had our first unclaimed victory and our first backdoor win. AirborneSAS is our winner if Berger could have pulled it off.

I think I've said it multiple times now, but JB Fucking Holmes is going to be the guy that got away for me this year, and is going to make me tear my hair out.  I spent an hour easy looking at him, his stats, the season he was having, and was all set to take him the third and at the last second, I decided to switch to Molinari.  Holmes was taken with the next pick.  I fucking hate my team already, and he's going to make me hate it all season long even worse.  FUCK.

Wonderfully annoying round by Charley Hoffman today - goes out in a 31 and the wheels come off on the the par 3 4th (13th for him) with a 7, and finishes shooting 31-43 for 2 over on the day.

Congrats Zomp.  Even if Bubba won the tournament, I wasn't going to win this week, thanks to only having 2 guys in it (Ryan Palmer finished 12th).  I'm going to keep track of how many weeklies I'm going to cost myself by drafting Molinari instead of Holmes.  That's at least the first one, maybe the second (I'd have to go back and look at Holmes' other good finishes).  I just want one tournament where I have more than 5 guys playing, and it actually includes my first three picks.

Nice win Zomp. I thought I'd have a shot yesterday without having the winner, but Dubuisson shoots 85 after being in top10 position, Mickelson bogies 18 to go from a T25 to a 1 point spot and then Westwood/Lowry fall just outside of the top 10. Oh well. Double digit points in 3/4 weeks at least.

Nice win.  DJ playing very well so far this year and Holmes continues to demonstrate that while he was a great 3rd round pick, he's not (yet) ready for prime time.

I was actually looking at that earlier and trying to make sense of some of the holes.  The Par 5's were atrocious.  He went bogey, double, double, triple on the 4 par 5's.  If he just makes par on those holes, he would have been +2 instead of +10.  On the fourteenth hole, par 5, he was 24 feet from the hole after his third shot.  I can't figure out exactly where he was, but all I know is he hit his next shot 13 feet, so now he had an 11 foot putt for par.  He proceeded to miss that and leave himself a 2 footer.  He missed that and left himself a 3 footer, which he missed, leaving himself a 2 footer, which he missed.  So, he had at least 4 putts on the hole, maybe 5.  He played the first 582 yards in 3 shots, and the last 8 yards in 5 shots.  That's amazing. With the length these guys have, and Daly is still pretty long, it is very, very hard to make an 8 on any hole in which you don't have to take a penalty.

He also 3 putted from 5 feet on No. 1.

Freaking had 7 guys in the tournament, and only 5 missed the cut. Not a bad percentage there.

I'm with you.  Had four missed cuts myself and it ended up costing me the week.

Ernie Els has missed four cuts in five tournaments.  He may be cooked.

My first round pick hasn't played a round under par since I drafted him. 8 straight rounds and counting.

It's still early, guys. Long way to go, nobody's out of it yet*.

Another 10 point week for me. 4/5 weeks in double digits is better than expected, and keeping me within striking distance.

* Except BMHH.

I can't quote from the draft thread but I wanted to drop an "I told you so" on BBB for De Jonge's implosion on Saturday and Sunday, especially while finishing one point off the winning team score. This was a typical performance from him last year.

I knew it was coming all week. Had 30+ points and the week in my hands until the last six holes. A three stroke lead and I was nevER comfortable. Saw it coming a mile away. Oh well 19 points doubles my best week so far.

Unreal.  So Bubba withdraws due to the death of a childhood friend.  Once again, I have 4 guys playing, but not my 1st, 2nd or 4th picks.  I'm fucking cursed.  How is it possible to have a team full of guys that play 25 tournaments a year and yet, never have a tournament in which more than 4-5 play and/or a tournament where my first four picks all play.  I should just write this off.  On to the brackets.
