It took until August, but now my team is cooking.

I had such a great spring and now my entire team sucks with the exception of Jason Day.  Granted, that's a big exception, but it's maddening to have a guy on my team win the tournament and not come close to winning the week, which has happened to me three or four times this year.

Oh, and f%ck you Harris English.

I feel better now.

I am chagrined (and pleasantly surprised) to realize that mere days after venting about the lack of depth on my team, they came together - yes even Harris English played well - to give me a 20 point week without any winner's points.

I believe that ties me with Lupe for the week.  More importantly, it means I still have 5 going for the next round and have an outside shot at getting as many as 4 into the Tour Championship. So not a bad week.

27 points gets it done.  Strong week from Day, JB Holmes and even Harris English, who stopped choking for a second, made a putt on 18 and qualified for the Tour Championship.

Overall standings are now very tight and will be decided at East Lake.

Realistically, it's a 3 team race with Vegas, Average Reds, and myself. Considering they have the 2 best players in the world on their teams, and I have nothing close to that, I'd say I am a considerable underdog here. Best of luck to everyone.

Realistically, the fact that Vegas has a 8/9 point lead and three players going in a 30 man field establishes him as the prohibitive favorite.

But when Day inevitably wins again and Spieth comes in second, you've already made up half the deficit right there. ;)

Good luck to the 3 still in it. Maybe Stenson can steal one last week for me.

Another fun year, looking forward to next season. Thanks for the spreadsheets, VSF.

The season was great. I can't believe Sergio sat out the first two playoff tourneys. Oh well, very much looking forward to the next edition. Thanks to VSF, Zomp, and johnmd20!

Yeah for some reason I don't feel comfortable at all.

I'm surprised that another player did not get added to the field with Furyk's withdrawal.  (This happens in the WGC events.)  Guess the top 30 rule is hard and fast, but it means that only the bottom 4 players get 1 points.  And since I already know that Harris English has his name on one of those positions, I need JB Holmes and Day battling for the lead come Sunday.

Effing brutal. Good luck this weekend boys.

Justin Rose and Kevin Na, I turn my eyes to you.

A 28 man tournament is pretty crazy.

They brought Schneiderjans (probably butchered the spelling) to be a marker too with the odd numbered field. Sucks for him.

Awesome season Vegas, and a serious thank you for developing the tracker.  I show all of my friends what we've created and they are blown away by it.

I'll echo the thanks. This is my favorite league as well and for the first time I experienced the added bonus of not sucking.

Thanks to all and looking forward to January and the draft. (Can I keep Jason? Please?)

Vegas, your work was amazing. Thanks very much. I owe people money and I think I said I was going to give the top player 350 and the scond player an extra 150. If that is wrong and I'm lowballing, let me know. I can't find that thread where I said that.

I am going to bow out of this league going forward, not because it's not awesome, but because I suck. So I will be paying out everyone whatever they happened to have won this year, plus the extras noted above. How do I figure out who won what?

We tied for second for the week, which means you beat me out by a point in the yearly standings.  (%^%##%!!!!)

Since it's so close I was going to go through a do a quick audit. I can come up with the payouts while I'm at it. I honestly forgot about the $350, that's incredibly generous. Next time anyone is in Vegas drinks are on me. I can also get passes for the tournament out here in a few weeks if anyone wants to go.

This is always a sad time for me to have the season come to a close for our fantasy league. Echoing the above this IS my favorite fantasy league I enter every year and I look forward to it from now until draft day in January.  Congrats to all the winners this year and big thank you to Vegas and Zomp, as well as JohnMD for being our bookie...I as well hope you decide to continue the league.

I already said this, but this fantasy golf thing is awesome.

I went from knowing literally nothing about the PGA the first year to following practically every single tourney and having a rooting interest to the end. Its great! I went from I think last place the 1st year to 4th this year so improvement is pretty easy. Stay in it JohnMD!

I totally understand why you wouldn't want a patsy to quit. When you are at the table and you can't spot the sucker. . . .yadda yadda. Anyway, I am going to make the full payouts and we'll see what 2015 brings.

I clearly suck at this but it's cool enough for me to contribute again next year. I also promise not to be a deadbeat next year. I had a few issues going on last year.

And let me echo the thoughts of others Vegas. Really nice job!

I finished the audit and found just one error. BigMike was missing 3 points from Wiesberger in the Bridgestone Championship. I've updated the sheet and there was no material impact to results. I've added the payout info to the results page and added a summary below. Feel free to double check my work. All results are on the Google doc.
