It's Revenge Week here in the Port Cellar. First up is Cleveland. I look forward to doubling up the revenge on Friday.

tonight kicks off 16 games in 29 games (including 2 b2b's). Not an insanely difficult stretch, but would be big if they can keep in range of Milwaukee at the top of the east. At the very least, keeping in solid range of the 2 seed could pay dividends next march/april to avoid having to kill the starters (and a hopefully revving back up Rob W) to get HCA in the 2nd round. I know "winning is good" is pedantic but just something to keep in mind as we start figuring out which teams are real.

This will be a key test. Celts might have been a bit unprepared for the Cavs in the first game, but now they know they have to bring their A game.

Wow. ESPN betting line favors Celts by 1.5, even though Cavs have Garland back. Go Celts!

Smart telling a fan “no mismatch“ after guarding Jarret Allen in the post

Maybe Al should just never attempt to save a ball that’s going out of bounds again. He’s uniquely bad at it

The good news: LeVert isn't lighting the C's up.

The bad news: Garland is back and on fire.

Looks like no one came to play today with the exception of Jaylen (who has taken and made some pretty bad shots so I’m not going to praise him too much)

I think Brogdon should start. I know you want to preserve him for the long haul but I want to see what a starting unit with him out there could do. More offensive gravity, not giving up a ton on D.

Whoa. On yttv a ted budd ad came on. And a ‘skip ad’ button popped to go to a more relaxing commercial. It was a lovely hummingbird feeding

The Grant wide open missed three to shameful flop 3 ft play on the other end was a rough sequence.

Wish plays like that could be fineable offenses.

Defense getting absolutely cooked.

I’d guess the thinking here is that moving Brogdon back to the bench when the team is healthy may be harder than doing the same with White.

Mitchell and Lavert with 41 the other night. Then Garland puts up a personal best Q1.

The defense is pretty lousy

I agree Brogdon is the better player but I think it lets them stagger the lineup better with him coming off the bench.

Did Mitchell play this well against Boston when he was with the Jazz? This is insane.
