On Monday, Washington scored 107. Boston exceeded that with 1:23 left in the 3rd. Tonight, the Celtics exceeded Indiana’s point total at 1:32 in the 3rd.

Seems like these guys are locked in early. They’re going to run through the dregs of the league like shit through a tin horn if they keep this focus and stay healthy.

2nd to last (now 3rd to last) 150, was a barn burner between Bird and Drexler. Bird had 49 and a triple double. Clyde had 41 and 2 REB's short of a triple double. 3 Blazers starters(including Clyde) fouled out and a 4th had 5.

I remember that game. Afternoon. An on-his-last-legs Bird hit a late 3 to win it or clinch it or something. I was pretty sure his front foot landed and back foot lifted before he got the shot off and it should have been travelling.

I’m enjoying this year’s version of Tatum so far. Using his physicality in the post and a much cleaner/quicker three point stroke. Feels like he’s making another leap forward.
Feels that way. I’ll whisper this so as not to jinx anything, but….is he the second best player in the league?

Wow I somehow remember that Blazers game too. It was a Sunday right? I am fairly certain I was driving back from Vermont with my grandparents after a ski weekend and we were listening to it in the car. My grandfather had partial season tickets to the Celts so he was a big fan. Remember feeling shocked that Bird made the 3. I was 10 at the time!
