But you say he's the dumbest forward in the league and is horrible like Pavlov's dog every game thread. I say he's hurt. They can't afford to sit him because their other forwards are pretty bad too. As long as he's not preventing his wrist from healing, gotta keep playing him and getting him back to form.

McQuaid looks mentally lost out there but I think his skating and strength look better than I ever remember. I'm willing to give him some games to shake off the rust. Still, best case scenario he's just a decent 4th defenseman

He's actively hurting the team. They can afford to sit him, and should if he can't play his game. He's David Clarkson bad right now. If he can't score, and he isn't using his physical presence to open up space for his line mates - he shouldn't be on the "1st" line. Bring up Pastrnak, or Khoko. They can't be any worse.
