Man, I love Patrice Bergeron. I'm glad we get to witness one more season of him wearing the sweater.

Please pretty please just get into the playoffs with the top 2 lines and Charlie healthy

The fact that Bergy, Pasty and DK all scored in the first game back warms the heart. Get better soon Marchy and Charlie!

Caught some highlights finally. Did it look like they were having more fun than last season to anyone else?

Between here and everywhere.
What a night.

@RSN Diaspora 's hospitality continues to be world class.

I was not in the beer line/can for 20 minutes. I was in line for a CHICKEN FUCKING SANDWICH FOR 20 MINUTES. An outrageous amount of time to wait for a sandwich that frankly, wasn't even that good. The Verizon center sucks.

The Bruins looked much more dynamic, but less disciplined. 1st game? Monty's system? Missing Debrusk for the 3rd? Who knows. Against Kuemper it plays, it may not work against a better team though. I imagine getting Marchand and McAvoy back will help that (pushing Forbort and Foligno hopefully up to the 9th). Lauko can fly.

Ovechkin was a non factor. I was surprised how little I noticed him out there. It may be the Bergeron effect, RSN and I both noticed how heavily Bergeron was shadowing Ovechkin on the Washington PP, really keeping the lane for the one timer shut down.

My wax still feels like a sunburn. I hate it.

Coach implied that he was willing to live with giving up the the occasional 3 on 2 or 2 on1 in order to sustain pressure below the offensive goal line and by B's defensemen.

I realize some of it may be that they were on the road but Forbert leading all defensemen in TOI (by a margin) is a bit concerning...Not sure I ever want him to be getting 3+ more minutes of ES ice than, say Lindholm.

I don't disagree, but the numbers stood out to me.

I'd be fine with Monty dishing out minutes based on in game performance, I hope that's what this was.

Not to come off as negative- great start to the season. I'm high on this team's chances but they needed this kind of opener.
