Serious question: he's now a full-time center. How physical does he (or any other skilled center) need to be?

Fluto's Sunday article sure did make it seem like he's still got a lot of the flaws he had here, but his scoring makes up for it IMO. But I don't know if he can be physically knocked off his game as a center. I guess we'll see.

Depends on which system Dallas is running. I have no idea and I"m too lazy to find out, but Julien's system requires the Center to be involved in all the dirty spots. Other systems have the Center up high. Seems like Dallas allows him to stay away from those dirty areas.

It doesn't matter, the Bruins will try to knock him around whenever possible. Mostly in the neutral zone.

You're gonna be busy stomping on the Seguin comments. I promise not to be a dink tonight.
Hah I'll be lucky if I get to see any of the game. This thread is all yours and Nap's.

Except the fish are sharks, the barrel is the Pacific Ocean and the gun is the busted oar you are holding on to while waiting for rescue.

Do I want to be salty and yell at the state of the union, or do I want to be salty and yell at Tyler Seguin?

Starting lineups are generally useless, but WTF was Julien thinking with the 3rd line/2nd pair? Did he not think Ruff would see that and not counter with the Seguin line?

I'm worried about the second period.  The stars score more goals in the second (44-61-36).  They're faster than the Bruins and I'm really worried the Stars will get extended zone time and tire the defenders out.

At least they keep committing stupid penalties.

Great first shift on the PP.  3-4 good shots on goal from guys with open shots.

Pastrnak took a beating on that shift.  Multiple Dallas players gave him hard shots as he patrolled in front of the goalie.

I'm really starting to get sick of Jack.

It looked to me like Moen pulled the puck underneath him and it wasn't a pass. I could be wrong but my initial reaction was that it was a penalty.

I think that's what the ref assumed he was doing (I did too). But on watching it again he passed it between his legs to a Star behind him. It was a pretty nifty play.

Yeah, I think you're right. Tough call in real time though.
