The AL is hitting .247 as a whole (compared to .261 in 1985). The NL is hitting .252 (WITH the DH) as opposed to .251 in 1985 (WITHOUT the DH). The AL, as a whole, hit .230 in 1968. We are getting back to the Year of the Pitcher offense. 1968 baseball was boring. 2023 baseball is boring...
