Sounds like you have the same thing that I had. "Anti Virus Pro"? All those notifications you're getting are fake & only intended to scare you into paying for their "product". The malwarebytes software mentioned above actually did a great job of cleaning it off my computer... at first it...

Interesting... what are the odds that I would get my first-ever malware infection ("Anti Virus Pro") just the day after Microsoft released their new flagship OS? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Wow. I completely missed this thread over the last 1.5 years. Guess I thought it was about greyhounds. Oops. Anyone running Boston this year? I moved from Somerville to Denver last fall and now that opening day & the marathon are coming around, I'm starting to feel like I'm missing out...
