    IIRC, providing he's healthy the target was right around the first of May because he had no spring training. Knock wood we're almost there.

    I'm not a huge Cora supporter, but ATM he's doing the best he can with what he has and the team is responding. Raffy's going to DH and he feels that RFsnyder is the best choice in this moment. It's not a matter of any of us being right or wrong, it's just looking at the situation and seeing it...

    We are seriously just 25 games into the season with some pretty extreme situations that are forcing some unconventional decisions. Oh and the team is currently sporting a record that is better than the majority of us felt possible at this point under the best of circumstances.

    RFsnyder can play either of the corners, Yoshida while not optimal can play LF. Once RFsnyder returned from the IL, Rafaela shifted to SS and they were still without O'Neill for another 3 or 4 games. At this point I think Rafaela sticks at SS

    Yes and Hamilton is hardly a regular in the lineup ATM and is likely not even a bench piece soon. They're weathering the storm right now with some upgrades (hopefully) right around the corner.

    Yeah, for so many of these guys baseball is a game of opportunity. Abreu is certainly making the most of his. He's playing his ass off on both sides of the ball.

    I think Valdez might benefit from playing more in WOOstah, but I believe Hamilton's still on the 26 man. This team's not deep enough to have 2 of it's 4 bench spots taken by the backup catcher and a pinch runner.

    In Cooper's case there may not necessarily be any sell if there's a trade and if he preforms he likely sticks if/when Casas returns.

    Yoshida is not an MLB outfielder. Breslow needs to trade Yoshida. Devers is a DH. Why isn't Yoshida in the lineup? Seriously, we're better than this aren't we?

    ATM there's nearly no choice IF Devers is out of the lineup. And if Devers is in the lineup you then have to weigh the better defender at 1B vs the better bat. Hopefully Breslow finds another option, but at least for the short term this is what we're faced with.

    Add to this, one would hope that Breslow might be able to come to terms with the Cubs.
