Imagine if in basketball only one of the refs got to decide if a ball went in the hoop and if he blinked when it happened, it didn’t count, even though everyone else on planet earth saw it happen?
Well, the plus here is he's at 64 pitches. He's got a chance to get into the 6th, so we won't have to burn the pen or punt the game.
Almost wonder if he’s mixing it up a little too much. The hard hits have come on mislocated soft stuff while he has been burying that sinker low in the strike zone pretty good.
Just wanted to recognize this quality use of imagery before it rolls off the page.
Really wish we could have Duran’s blunder back and see if we could have managed more two out magic with Wood on the ropes.
