Edit: and it's supposed to rain ALL DAY on Saturday

On Saturday I like having the majority of the games more towards the evening. And by Sunday I wish the games were done bye 7 pm like they used to when it was just CBS.

I like it because it gives the games everybody wants to watch a stand alone time. I do wish on Sunday they would get the games over earlier, but in my profession I'm usually working games on Saturday and/or Sunday so some night games gives me the opportunity to watch them.

Meh. I don’t care about missing the first 5-10 minutes of a game unless it’s my team. In which case I can switch over anyway. With all games being broadcast as well as the multi view option, I don’t see why we need to have windows with single games at this stage if the tournament.

Next weekend is obviously a different story.

That gap from 1:30-3:15 when Zona is up 20 at halftime is gonna feel long.

Zona/Dayton is in the same pod as Zags/KU. They want the Zags game in a prime slot as well as UNC/MSU. They chose Zags for the 3:15 slot so the only time to play the Zona game is beforehand as the 2 games are played 30 minutes apart.

Could they not have played at 3:15 and 5:45? (which would be 1:15 and 3:45 MT)

Feels like the ideal schedule would be something like:

Pod 1 - tip at 12:30 and 3
Pod 2 - tip at 2 and 4:30
Pod 3 - tip at 3:30 and 6
Pod 4 - tip at 5 and 7:30

They apparently wanted the two Charlotte games in prime time because of the national brands of the teams involved. I don't remember CBS having a Saturday night game in years past...maybe it's because they don't have the FF or title game. They're trying to run it all day up to the 11:00 local news after a short post-game show. The 8 pm start time will actually be closer to 8:15 as the 5:30 game will go over 2 hours(it always does). That's why I think we don't see a game start until almost 1:00. Would it be better for the SLC folks to start it a bit later? Sure, but the WC games start early all the time especially on the first 2 days of the tournament. Next weekend in LA, games will start at like 4 or 4:30 on a Thursday afternoon. Not ideal either.

I don’t think either of these teams are long for this tournament but this has the potential to be one of the most fun games of the tournament.

This Gonzaga-Kansas game is awful. These guys are throwing up absolute bricks everywhere.

I apparently know the guy in the Verizon commercial with Tony Hart who says 'none, none sounds about right'. For the number of times it airs, and how annoying it's become, I hope he at least makes a bundle.
