Have you been watching the Lions this year? This is who he is.He’s gonna get killed worse than the Falcons
Have you been watching the Lions this year? This is who he is.He’s gonna get killed worse than the Falcons
That’s who the Falcons were too. Or so they told usHave you been watching the Lions this year? This is who he is.
They've been on the field the entire half.Lions DL running out of gas
Yeah Campbell went high risk high reward with a big lead. He’s gonna get killed worse than the Falcons
Sure. No one knows how it’ll work. I just hate the “take the points” because there’s no guarantee they get points on a 47 yard kick.Once again, they failed and if the mediocre kicker does the bare minimum in his job, Detroit has a lead.
Indeed. They've been on the field the entire half.
I should say high risk medium rewardYeah Campbell went high risk high reward with a big lead.
I have been told it’s who they are and their kicker its no guarantee. It was the right decision.I hope they thank Campbell in the post-game for his idiocy in helping them win.
Actualluy, if they make both FGs they are still down by 4Once again, they failed and if the mediocre kicker does the bare minimum in his job, Detroit has a lead.
I don’t know what that means. They aren’t turning their backs on Campbell after this game regardless of the outcome. Maybe the Get Up crowd will but Lions will be back and continue their approach. That’s who the Falcons were too. Or so they told us
Offense has done jack squat this half, but underperforming D is also true. They only needed to defend 10 out of 30 minutes in the first half, should have had a little more in the tank the second half.Defense has been awful. Can’t win with a D playing like they have for a half.
Might not have been the right decision. But it was a defensible decision.I have been told it’s who they are and their kicker its no guarantee. It was the right decision.
Yeah — even if you convert it not an automatic 7.I should say high risk medium reward
The Falcons said after the game they were just trying to stay aggressive.I don’t know what that means. They aren’t turning their backs on Campbell after this game regardless of the outcome. Maybe the Get Up crowd will but Lions will be back and continue their approach.
Campbell will be celebrated or defended by many media for being consistent and gutsyI hope they thank Campbell in the post-game for his idiocy in helping them win.
Yeah, I think this underscores why going for it was the right call. The defense is gassed. You needed a touchdown there, or at least a field goal with a lot less time on the clock and the defense a bit better rested.Actualluy, if they make both FGs they are still down by 4
Definirtly been both.Offense has done jack squat this half, but underperforming D is also true. They only needed to defend 10 out of 30 minutes in the first half, should have had a little more in the tank the second half.
He will be so annoying after the game too talking about playing the way that got them here.m with no regard for the situation or stakes.Nothing I hate more than a coach in love with his own legend. Play to win. Don't play to be a heroic coach.
Goff has been excellent this half.I can’t remember a collapse like this in a big game. I am sure it has happened but this is epic. Even the Falcons kept making plays. The Lions have just folded like a tent.
No one celebrated the Falcons for being consistent. No one.Campbell will be celebrated or defended by many media for being consistent and gutsy
One thing's for sure: They'll all be embracing the suck. That’s who the Falcons were too. Or so they told us
Their kicker is 17-21 from 40-49 over the last two seasons and 4/6 from 50+. It's not Patterson anymore.Sure. No one knows how it’ll work. I just hate the “take the points” because there’s no guarantee they get points on a 47 yard kick.
Yes! Coach to the context and the situationI sorta get the "dance with the one that brung ya" logic, but it really seems like Campbell treated this like a regular season game. Sometimes you have to adjust to the situation.
Great comp. I could hear a Lions fans shouting at him, "Will someone tell him he doesn't have to go for it there?"Dan Campbell is Kevin Costner in Tin Cup
