Yes, for those of us on Gameday, did Story drive the ball the opposite way or just plunk one in?
It’s frustrating when our defense is poor. It is especially frustrating when we play poor defense on the same play where our opponent rubs our nose in it by showing us what good baserunning looks like.
I felt like it’s early and no outs - why give them a chance at a bigger inning and take away the dp
I can't watch, but according to Gameday, Torkelson, hbp, scored, and so far the Sox, have done squat.
Just keep hitting triples to plate the guy on first, and no one has to worry about hitting with runners in scoring position.
Send that to Bloom; you get get a job in the front office!
Makes me wonder, though, whether anyone who started at first has ever been thrown out at home after the batter reached third on a triple
