Is that going to be Danny's rebuild in Utah or is someone else calling the shots?
Danny will run it, but I don't think it's a rebuild, so much as a reset. Try to move Gobert, bring a new coach. Maybe Atlanta or Charlotte are interested in Rudy, then give it a year or two and see if you can avoid a Mitchell trade demand.

What the heck is going on with the Bulls today? They were competitive in both games in Milwaukee, and look like ass so far tonight with the Bucks down one of their big three.

I think they should move them both, and do a hard re-set. Ship Gobert to CHA for Hayward's deal, PJ Washington Bouknight and picks. Auction Mitchell to the highest bidder, say NYK for Barrett, Toppin, Burks and picks? (MEM, MIA, ORL other teams that could offer good young players and picks).

This Hawks team needs a soft reset too. The pieces just don't all fit. They need to consolidate and add role guys that know they're role guys. In my opinion at least.

How is it possible to have ~60 points through three quarters in 2022 in a huge game?

I enjoy the Bulls having that game 2 where they randomly played good defense and DeRozan made a ton of bad shots, Middleton got hurt and people talked themselves into CHI having a shot....

And then they were who we thought they were... gave up 90 through 3 quarters getting obliterated by 30+

Jimmy is like your 6th/7th choice on the roster for the Heat to take that fallaway three at the buzzer. If you can't get something going towards the bucket, just use him as a decoy for a more comfortable long-range shot by someone else.

They had 4.4 seconds to get 2 points and that’s what they got. Brutal IMO.

It’s terrible and the Suns are about to run away with it given the Pelicans can’t generate a real offense anymore and can’t defend the paint.

I don't watch the Suns enough to know but is there something wrong with Ayton? Why hasn't he been maxed out? #1 pick pedigree, 23 years old, good stats.

Kind of flat trajectory (at least non-advanced stats)? CP3 makes him look better than he is? Robotic game?

Lol Ayton with 28, Javale with 13, nobody else in double figures for PHX, they need literally ANYONE on the perimeter to score the ball

If you mean why didn't he get the max extension?

The Suns are notoriously cheap and are paying CP3 and Booker a bunch of money, they were hoping they could get him back for less than max, with the worst case being they match someone else' max offer sheet which is less than the max they can give him. Basically going to Hayward him. And in return likely CP3 will retire in a year or two and Ayton will leave remembering that they nickle and dimed him

Yeah.

So it's as simple as, "we will pay you whatever someone else can pay you, but not max out what we can pay you?"

Wasn't sure if there is some on-court reason him being a max guy is controversial.

About right, Suns will be back to rooting for Booker putting up 70 burgers rather than Finals runs once CP3 leaves or retires. Ayton is as good as gone when he is able. Bridges is very good but shines most as part of a deeper team.

The Pels thinking they had a chance then Chris Paul just moving it up a gear in the 4th and burying them.... dude is still a monster

Zion is missing a huge opportunity to help his image and change fans opinions of him. If he showed up for Game 4 ready to play and helped tie the series, or even pushed the Suns to 7 games, he’d be a legend with Pelicans fans.

I took my son to the Hawks game last night. At no point did I think Atlanta would win that particularly when Miami had the ball with four seconds remaining.

I noticed that Lowry barely played in the second half but didn’t know he had a hamstring injury. Will be interesting to see if he’s ready to go tomorrow night.

The Jazz defense is better with Gobert on the court... Problem is that even with him it's bad, and the offense is much better with him off Roster flaws make benching their max player a reasonable idea
