I think reading between the lines that Danny had Garland in the 2nd tier (Zion is 1 by himself) and just couldn't get good value in a trade to go get him.

Doumbouya probably has the highest ceiling of those guys and you likely can’t get him at 14. But is a project worth two firsts?
