Awful 1q. The dubs should be up 15-20 but they are really out of sorts. Credit to Houston but man, Steph has to settle this shit down. This is his one flaw really. He's such a shoot first player, sometimes you just need to bleed the air out the ball a little and calm stuff down.
I remember when Chris Paul was quick. Now he takes an inbounds pass with 5 seconds to go and pulls up from halfcourt. Getting old sucks.
The officials have decided to deny Harden any landing spot for the entire game it seems. What an epic screw job thus far.
Edit: And one more time!! I always seem to be defending officiating and have no dog in this fight but this is like Donaghy-level stuff today. The one call in Hardens favor was almost let go too.

Taking out the best player’s ankles is nothing new for the Warriors. It was their only way to stop Kawhi.
Harden is clearly being fouled on these jump shots but I have a problem with the rule when you step back and then jump forward on your jumper. The only way to avoid the foul is to not close out and let the player get an open shot. There is no way to contest the shot without fouling.
Rockets did the same to Curry the other way, too, no call; seems less one-sided and more generally poor officiating.
On one hand this is a very entertaining game. On the other hand I think I’m rooting for a meteor to hit the arena.
27 combined turnovers so far through 3; for comparison, Celtics/Bucks had 19 total. Sloppy all around.

Its brutal watching Houston play this way in the playoffs. You have to move the ball in a series against good teams.
