Portland loves white players almost as much as they love Massachusetts players.

The N8A on that tweet was only the second most obvious clue that it was a fake. The most obvious was the claim of that package for George.

Well, that, plus the fact that the tweet was time stamped 30 minutes ago yet the news hadn't made this Boston sports site yet.

I'd be good with a PG13 move but want to see Brown and Tatum stay here.

Personally I would be fine with a future first, Bradley and Crowder but not sure it would be enough. But considering the Butler trade...

Malik Monk cannot do anything but shoot. Theres a place for that kind of player in the NBA but these days ya gotta defend and ya gotta pass a little bit. Not sure such a one dimensional player merits a lottery pick

I think that's a steal; could see him like CJ McCollum and average 20 points per game.

Thank you. Still feel like he coulda topped that deal easily. I would be furious if I was a Bulls fan
Unless the bulls were in love with Markinnen something like Lakers pick and Brown and Bradley/Crowder seems like a much better return. If the Cs weren't even offering that much not sure why the sides even bothered negotiating.

Listening to 98.5, Jones is wondering why there's been no word yet from ownership or Brad Stevens yet. They are speculating that they are still working on a possible George deal. Usually, wouldn't Ainge have spoken about Tatum by now? It's been over an hour.

There is no way in hell Tatum is involved in a deal for one year of George.

I'm sticking to what I've said all week that we weren't drafting at 3 to keep the player. It sure sounds like some things are about to go down or fall through. One GM angle is that Pritchard knows Ainge has to speak about the player and is holding out.....knowing that this doesn't HAVE to get done tonight. Game of cat and mouse.....I say it gets done maybe not tonight though. It could be held up waiting to see if Ainge's guy is there at 18 too.

This sounds about right to me. But it might be Tatum staying and someone else going, but the cat and mouse thing - yeah.
