Reds, first of all, I envy you for having baseball fan(s) around you who are passionate about baseball. I live in CA, South Bay, Santa Clara Valley, which "belongs" to the Giants, and I never run into a fan who gives more than 2/3 of a rats ass about his team. You see plenty of people wearing Giants hats or WS champion T-shirts or hoodies, but if you talk to them, it's just, yes, I like the Giants OK. That's one thing I miss about the East Coast, along with the food, i.e., the fan fervor.
As for Cespedes, it's too bad he didn't stay in Oakland. He was really, really popular there and seemed to flourish better than he will anywhere else. He seems destined to be a journeyman hired bat now with a weird set of fielding skills/non skills and numbskull tendencies.
