White flag from KC going against MadBum tomorrow. Not sure I'd do the same.
If shields pitches like an ace. It might be a good game

Hm, didn't know about Fenway. Candlestick was notorious for always being wet and slippery, even when it hadn't rained in a while. Looked that way when Affeldt slipped, although it has rained.

I once saw Darren Bragg go over the RF wall at the Stick (recall that he played like a football player when he was with the Sox),  I think he tried to slow up but couldn't and just flipped over the wall.  The bullpen surface was like cement too.  He took a long time to gather himself afterward.  That park sucked balls in every way imaginable.

Harold Reynolds is amazed that Posey is still trying with a six run lead!  Harold Reynolds marvels at the world around him.

As this series has gone on, I am not as firm the Royals camp as I thought I would be. Just kind of enjoying the baseball.

Petit is everything I like about playoff baseball. He will start a game. He 'll finish a game. Or anything in between. He 'll even get a hit. He gives no fucks and just comes in to kick ass when you need innings, and he takes his $800,000 while guys making five times that shit their pants all around him.

Anybody else bothered by the constant auto-gain adjustment on Fox's cameras?  Annoying.

I actually think Fox's camerawork is very good - I especially love the field cams they have around the bases and the plate.  The announcing, on the other hand...

Not as much as I've been impressed with the advances made in cameras covering baseball in the last 10 years. High def, slo mo, fabulous. Makes looking at the old stuff seem like i'm looking through the bottom of a coke bottle.

In the good ol' days there was a person or two in the truck shading cameras (manually riding the iris).  Now it's a digital circuit and it's not smooth.
The camera work, done by real people, is good.

Oh yes, I do agree with this.  But I see the flaws just as well.
