In the good ol' days there was a person or two in the truck shading cameras (manually riding the iris). Now it's a digital circuit and it's not smooth.DeJesus Built My Hotrod said:

Not as much as I've been impressed with the advances made in cameras covering baseball in the last 10 years. High def, slo mo, fabulous. Makes looking at the old stuff seem like i'm looking through the bottom of a coke bottle.
