Replay has dramatically changed how refs call plays though. They typically would rather “blow” a call in a way that allows for replay than not.Good thing there is replay to clean up all these. I just don’t recall pre-replay that there were this many blown calls (whether or not this was specifically blown)
They should really explain it more.ball looks like it changes spin when it passes by the guys helmet?
He almost literally cant analyze plays after they happen.Romo trying to figure out this call is cruel. His brain is exploding.
Not when he’s touching out of bounds.Amusingly, they blew the call on the field saying the Bills' player was out of bounds but replay showed that they were accidentally right, just glances off Freiermuth
The ball hit Freirmuth in the face ask when his ass was out of bounds. At least that’s what I saw though I’m starting to doubt it…Can someone explain how that was out of bounds?
Just a normal football bounceball looks like it changes spin when it passes by the guys helmet?
If that's the case then obviously the call was correct. I didn't see it touch him.The ball hit Freirmuth in the face ask when his ass was out of bounds. At least that’s what I saw though I’m starting to doubt it…
his body is partially out of bounds when the ball glances off him, it;s like the touchback rule, any part out of bounds makes you OOB, so when it glances off his helmet... he extends the OOB all the way to the ball. Not when he’s touching out of bounds.
The ball hit the receiver in the helmet/facemask while he was out of bounds, dead ball. Can someone explain how that was out of bounds?
Seems a lot of people around here don’t like Collinsworth, same with Romo, but the posts complaining about them are more annoying than they could be. I personally think that they, along with Aikman, are head and shoulders above the rest.Romo needs to be stopped. I know SoSH is well above average for fan intelligence, but people HAVE to be over him by now, right?
I think the ball clearly did not hit his helmet. One angle was pretty clear imo.his body is partially out of bounds when the ball glances off him, it;s like the touchback rule, any part out of bounds makes you OOB, so when it glances off his helmet... he extends the OOB all the way to the ball.
It’s possible that happened. I think it’s more likely that it didn’t. But we have to pretend that’s what the official saw, even though he plainly made a mistake in thinking the Bills player who recovered the fumble was out of bounds. The ball hit Freirmuth in the face ask when his ass was out of bounds. At least that’s what I saw though I’m starting to doubt it…
They should stop saying stupid shit. And that's also damning with faint praise.Seems a lot of people around here don’t like Collinsworth, same with Romo, but the posts complaining about them are more annoying than they could be. I personally think that they, along with Aikman, are head and shoulders above the rest.
Ya, I didnt see a spin change. And there was a replay from the low end zone that seemed to show air between helmet and ball once Freir touched oobJust a normal football bounce
Yeah, I’m watching without audio, I didn’t even know what they initially called. It’s possible that happened. I think it’s more likely that it didn’t. But we have to pretend that’s what the official saw, even though he plainly made a mistake in thinking the Bills player who recovered the fumble was out of bounds.
Credit where it’s due: Steratore explained it nicely.
She’s great. Realy hope her comedy can translate to a late show, my guess since Conan adores her is it can.I will watch that Taylor Tomlinson show. 1st commercial for a new show I will definitely give a chance. Sorry Joe Manganiello.
She’s great. Not sure the format will work for her. Late night TV is such a tired format. But she’s great.I will watch that Taylor Tomlinson show. 1st commercial for a new show I will definitely give a chance. Sorry Joe Manganiello.
Agree completely on Collineorth and Aikmen, not so much with Romo.Seems a lot of people around here don’t like Collinsworth, same with Romo, but the posts complaining about them are more annoying than they could be. I personally think that they, along with Aikman, are head and shoulders above the rest.
It's like seeing a triple in baseball.Tight ends running over defensive backs are the greatest sight in football.
