Aaron Judge sits at 60 homers entering the 4-game series against the Sox. Will Judge match and surpass Maris during the series? What say you SOSH?
I'm going with Brasier to serve up #61.
I'm going with Brasier to serve up #61.
My thinking exactly. I went with Hill too.Wacha starts tonight, but I think he will emerge unscathed, no idea who is first out of the pen, so I went with Hill for tomorrow.
Make him more expensive for the MFY. I like it!Meatballs... Every At Bat. Needs to average one HR a game for the rest of the schedule to pass Bonds. Let's make it a little easier for him.
Just make sure that they're solo shots. We're not communists.Make him more expensive for the MFY. I like it!
Judge has hit righties better than lefties this year, FWIW, both OPS and HR/AB.Hill and Strahm are the only two lefties on the staff now, and you'd guess Cora will try to avoid letting Strahm anywhere near Judge. I went with Hill.
This question made more sense a few days ago, but the lineup seems to be collectively waking up. In the two games with Bader, they have scored 23 runs and Judge only knocked in one of them (with his solo HR on Tuesday). As for doing that tonight, Rizzo (their #2 hitter) has great career numbers against Wacha and Gleyber (their #3 hitter) hit two homers in the 8th inning last night. Why are they pitching to him at all? Just pitch around him, don't let the best guy beat you. He's their only constant threat right now.
Ha! Well you know, AL record counts for something. It will be fascinating to see who gives up the HR that gives Judge the 7th highest single season HR total of all time.
This would be a really funny troll job and arguably is not crazy from a strategy perspective.I could live with 16 intentional walks.
Just saw this. Agree 100 percent.I could live with 16 intentional walks.
Judge is 0-14 career vs Wacha with 9 Ks, which of course doesn’t mean you’re wrong.Wow, I'm the only one who thinks Wacha gives it up early?
That just means he's due!Judge is 0-14 career vs Wacha with 9 Ks, which of course doesn’t mean you’re wrong.
Or even semi-intentional.I could live with 16 intentional walks.
Which makes no sense. Would anyone remember who Tracy Stallard was if it weren't for that one fateful pitch? Steve Trachsel? Chan Ho Park?Wacha doesn’t want to be a historic footnote
Al Downing?Which makes no sense. Would anyone remember who Tracy Stallard was if it weren't for that one fateful pitch? Steve Trachsel? Chan Ho Park?
Groove one and get it over with.
Richard Moll.Al Downing?
I just want to know who Billy Crystal is planning on casting as Judge when he produces/directs 62
I'm a little late to the party here, but this was definitely my first thought.
Gausman going tonightWell that was surprising...
Guess it's up to Toronto.
