The announcer just chalking up the helmet to helmet to “inadvertent contact”??

This league is an absolute joke. Let the booth call down the obvious penalty.

The refs are a disgrace.

This cannot continue. It happens in EVERY game. Just nonsense. Totally one sided and inconsistent.

it’s still a penalty anyway in that scenario isn’t it?

I don’t even mind most missed penalties, but not calling anything when a guy gets audibly smacked right in the face is bullshit for a league pretending to care about head injuries.

Is anyone else having issues with this game on YouTube? Every other game is fine but this one keeps freezing up.

the pats have gotten 0 calls all year. I wonder what’s up with that.
Philly, MIami, Dallas, and KC seem to be the favored teams this year.

Miami gets every call. Dallas is just getting EVERYTHING against the Rams today. You cannot even joke about the reffing in Washington today.

With all the legalized sports gambling these days, it really makes you wonder if the game is on the level when you see games like this. Anyone that actually bets their money on this league is crazy.

I bet that is just the way it is, but we had the luxury of not knowing it. I wouldn’t be surprised if Houston or Carolina or whatever get screwed too.

Refs probably assume we suck and so don’t give us the call if unsure what they saw.

3 third down penalties that should have been called on Miami, not called. First drive, late hit on Henry, 2nd drive facemask on Rham then that h2h on Parker. None of them were hard calls to make. Obscene.

Parker concussed. Things are going swimmingly in South Florida. And now Spero is telling us that the hit he was cheering on should have been a penalty.

They called this against Mapu when he did this to Waddle in Foxboro earlier this season.

Re: the hit on Parker, I can see why it isn’t called since it’s a bang bang play that the DB can’t do much about……UNLESS the NFL was actually serious about eliminating these kinds of bang bang plays, and forcing defenders to focus on wrapping up instead of blowing up.

But the NFL isn’t serious about that, so these kinds of plays—which will knock players on both team out of games—will keep happening.

Add in the ridiculous DPI on JC Jackson on the other side.

Why not have a rule that missed calls that result in players missing a play with head injuries are reviewable?

Refanon is telling me that flag on Miami was convenient in that it allows the refs to throw the flag without endangering a Dolphins red zone opportunity.

It’s just a cycle of over correcting from the previous week. Team A didn’t get calls and complains, then they get every call the next week. Holding is missed in a bunch of prime time games, so it gets called more the next week.
