I know we’ve said this before, but Bill should throw a challenge flag and say he was challenging the catch. And tell them to watch clearly that they blew the helmet to helmet call. Just for spite.

Re: the hit on Parker, I can see why it isn’t called since it’s a bang bang play that the DB can’t do much about……UNLESS the NFL was actually serious about eliminating these kinds of bang bang plays, and forcing defenders to focus on wrapping up instead of blowing up.

But the NFL isn’t serious about that, so these kinds of plays—which will knock players on both team out of games—will keep happening.
he led with the helmet to the receivers helmet. It’s obvious live in real time. If refs can’t see it they should be fired…it’s the clearest the call can possibly be

College just has a blanket rule that those plays are reviewable regardless of what her a flag was thrown. Seems to work fine.
Yeah that seems like an easy fix and good way to actually police plays that could fuck someone’s whole life and career up.

NFL officiating is just flat out bad and it has been forever. Sometimes it’s equally bad for each side in a game. Sometimes it isn’t.

Pats seem to be on the short end of the usual awfulness today.

It’s never bias, it’s just incompetence.

Ball was in the air in time, so I agree no flag merited on that play.
