I think I've seen enough Eagles games to feel confident that Doug Pedersen isn't a good coach.

He actually might have grounded his way to the sticks but they would never ever give it to him on review.

#4 showed a lot of moxie overcoming what was a pretty dreadful night. Kept the Romo Express in the garage for a week.

No chance they bench Dak with a 6 game winning streak. Forget everything else, you just don't risk that kind of karma with the football Gods. Considering they have Cleveland on the schedule next week, I'm pretty comfortable saying he'll get win No. 7 too, and the train will keep a rolling.

He's terrible at clock management and his playcalling is a mess pretty consistently. I guess that isn't all there is to being a coach, but if you want to be considered a "good" coach you can't be bad at all the in-game stuff.

Edit- he's like a dollar-store Andy Reid.

Philly looks like a real football team with a rookie qb who hardly played preseason. Maybe the HC fucked up some in game calls but I can't judge him solely on that.

We can say this as fans and everything but I'd hope to hell my teams head coach never makes a decision based on football god karma.

I think there's a pretty good case for bringing Romo back but its gonna be pretty tricky to thread the needle with it if they go that route.

The Cowboys were a dropped INT away on the tying drive from losing and Dak being a massive goat having already had a pretty awful game to that point. Then all of the sudden he plays great. Football is funny like that.

He's made some pretty terrible throws the past two games. He was fortunate that two fumbles of his against GB were recovered too.

Romo is almost certainly the better QB in that offense, but there's the unknown element of how long will it take him to shake the rust. I suppose the coaches are the ones that have an idea based on practice and such.

Yeah the tricky parts to me are1) knowing that he's not rusty and still physically up to the job 2) not going back to a super pass happy offense just because Romo is back

The Cowboys ceiling with Romo is higher than with Prescott and it's pretty close to best team in the league.

I wouldn't worry about #2. In 2014 when they got the great DeMarco Murray performance, the Cowboys finished 31st in pass attempts and third in rushes, actually running more than they passed.

Really? Other than the great playcalling that he has done and been lauded for pretty broadly you nailed it. Seriously, go get tested for "retard" you can't be dumber.
Why do your posts so regularly contain personal attacks and why is that ok?

Nm. Guess this is ok in a game thread?

So Jim Kelly is in the studio with Berman and Kelly is dressed in full camo with war paint and doing turkey calls

Struggling for ratings, huh?

Vikings coming way back to earth. Goes to show you what those "power rankings" are worth; they were rated #1 in the NFL when they were 4-0 and 5-0. They might as well just call it the standings.

Sean McDonough does a nice job...but whenever I hear his voice I think I am watching an SEC game on a random Saturday afternoon...

Who was responsible for the current trend of grasping onto the open neck part of the jersey in a Napoleon-type fashion? Feels like most QBs do it and are posing for oil paintings.

Being a CB is a rough life. Jeffery with a solid shove to clear out that space, but if Rhodes so much as breathed on him it would have been easy PI the other way.
