Note to Bill O'Brien:  it's not worth it to use your timeouts when the opposing offense is in the hurry-up.

Was Simms really confused as to why Houston called TO?

They need to try something so they gambled.

Not do sure I'd be running out of bounds with this field pos.

Mallett has pretty awesome body language. Quite the team player.

Run around to waste some time, then throw it out of bounds or to a receiver standing on the sideline.

The idea that the 30 year old Hoyer might have more (realistic) upside than Mallett isn't crazy to me.

Haha. He looks like a toddler who had his binky taken away.
Shocker given his skip practice the day after being named the backup move. He is not a leader..

They at least look like an NFL offense with Hoyer back there. It isn't great by any means, but I watch Mallett play and struggle to imagine how they could possibly put a scoring drive together.

I can understand Mallett's frustration I think. The first Texans drive felt like they were rolling. Now they are down by ten to a kind of shitty defense and he's watching from the sidelines.

Come on, give Novak a shot.  I saw him kick some possible 60 yarders at Maryland.
