listening to TalkSport commentary in the car, and the commentator called it the worse miss everJota boots it out of the stadium from 5 feet out. This is a frustrating game for LFC
He’s consistently able to make tiny, precise, deft touches at speed and make great defenders blush in the process. That makes me think it’s gotta be mental, but he’s not great with crossing or long balls, either. Poor touch, bad placement.Could be but for whatever reason he hasn’t learned end product yet and if not by now will he ever?
We have the Ballon D’Or and Fallon D’Floor. Jota may have shown a need for the Ballon D’Orbit.listening to TalkSport commentary in the car, and the commentator called it the worse miss ever
And then you have freaks like Pirlo and Inesta that can put the ball anywhere with any weight, including the goal.A great example for me is David Silva. He had even the ability to perfectly weight passes but just did not have the natural ability to put the ball in the net.
can't compare NFL to EPL non-contact "falls"Oh wait no thats just a dive.
VAR to the rescue.City in trouble now. As well as many of our Survivor pool including myself
everyone who started James Ward-Prowse today agrees with youThe game has changed so much but I was always taught that you challenge from the wrong side of an attacker you’re essentially responsible for what happens next. Armstrong probably is on the way down but I just can’t get comfortable with players getting away with such dumb challenges
Hold that thought until we see what KDB does…More worryingly for CIty should be how awful they look. Does Stones or Laporte really make this much of a difference?
The spine just isn’t there to quickly progress the ball without one of those and Rodri. Look very leggy though. City had 4 or 5 good chances 1st half but not having a striker continues to hauntMore worryingly for CIty should be how awful they look. Does Stones or Laporte really make this much of a difference?
The irony is making me convulse. If Sterling doesn't score it, it probably stands right?
we're just waiting for Pep to go 18 straight matches without a loss, while the rest of the stumbles over themselves...you'll be fine...Looking like a long week and probably a long season for City. Amazingly making the same mistake after each title win of having a really bad transfer window and not pushing on to leave other teams behind. Spent all summer chasing Kane, and a goal scorer was needed, but you can’t commit to that transfer unless you know you can complete it. Spent no time on Lb which has been a problem since Pep got here and CDM where Fernandinho just hasn’t got the legs. Now injuries in all the positions and while City have 7 or 8 wingers to rotate through there’s no depth at some really critical positions
I don’t think there’s another Pep renewal happening either way which is why it’s such a shame not to press the advantage while he is here.we're just waiting for Pep to go 18 straight matches without a loss, while the rest of the stumbles over themselves...you'll be fine...
or maybe the supporters club will force Pep out as manager...*shrug*
That Villa crowd was electrified by a brilliant goal, Villa got on the front foot, and Everton fell apart.Hard to believe these are the same sides from the first half.
