I'm about at the point where I'm hoping we get Denver over Pitt. Not that either is particularly worrisome, but Manning is just lulz. Pats could beat them by 30 if this Manning shows up.

I can't believe the refs let that call stand.  It didn't look like ---

TOUCHDOWN!

edit: didn't look like the defender had possession before going out of bounds.  You could call that a completion for the offense and give forward progress that would net about 1 yard, and I certainly wouldn't have argued.

I will say this, though: that was a ballsy run and head-first dive into a LB by Dalton to get the 1st down at the 2.  He may be a merely average QB but he's showing some heart.

Denver, Pitt, I don't think it matters. Only team I do not want are the Ravens.

TJ Ward is overrated as a player. Lays the wood by diving at legs every play, but can't cover for shit.

For him? For people who love football? I root against Peyton Manning every single week, but he's one of the best players in the history of the sport, it's always sad to see guys like that go away because they can't physically play anymore.
Tony Conigliaro, Bo Jackson, Kirby Puckett I felt bad, really bad about. All the way back to Manning throwing his O-line under the bus in Indy, can't stand him.

SeoulSox, give us a new nickname.

Didn't Gruden just call him the "Red Rocket" on the outro to commercial?

The nerve thing makes a lot of sense; the whole "adjusting the offense" is such BS. A healthy Manning throws 50 times a game if need be.

Teams take on the attitude of their leader. See TJ Ward Channeling Peyton throwing his arms up after the TD looking for someone to blame.
This you saw it when everyone gave up in the superbowl last year except Welker.

People were wondering why he signed for so little.

How far do people think Manning can throw a football? I really want to see a Hail Mary situation tonight.

55-60 yards in perfect conditions.

Well that was an up-and-down play (edit: the 3rd down run).  I thought they had him in the backfield, then I thought he had cleared the defense and was going to take it to the house.  Then he fell on his own while trying to change direction.

Manning has been tossing a few ducks for a while now this season.  Still hate to see a career ending injury.
