Sanders making catches LaFell can't.

Fuck the Broncos. Fuck the Raiders. Garbage game. It's over.
Manning for MVP! I'm just waiting for the additional two Td passes on 1st and goal.

Doesn't make me any happier.
Revis is better than Talib. It's a question of where you allocate your resources.

I love how Scott Hanson spills the league's secrets re extra commercials in nationally televised games.

I am not a Giants rooter; I like it when Francesa is unhappy

But I'm happy watching Eli abuse the loudmouth punk secondary

That was cute for a while, Oakland.
I'm figuring Pats need to run the table for HFA. I'm prepared to be pleasantly surprised about that, but coming to Fox for a playoff game ranks right up there with Ebola with the Broncos

I'm not sure it's a secret, though.
Not a secret, but not something I've seen publicly acknowledged elsewhere.

I realize Carr has shown flashes this year with zero help but I really can't see him as a reason not to draft Mariota or Winston.

I have no idea how you evaluate Carr in this pile of suck. Watch the Raiders offense on all 22 view, they are giving him no chance whatsoever.

Substitute "Texans" for "Raiders" and the parallels are sad

I hear you on that.  But the QB position is so important that if you have a chance to draft a guy who you really think has a truly elite ceiling (no idea whether the Raiders think that about Mariota or Winsont, but if that's the case) then I don't think you can say no.

Edit: I guess my point is that its hard to evaluate Carr, but if you're still uncertain about him (even if its a little unfair because of the aforementioned pile of suck), then you still draft a prospect like Mariota.  You only turn that opportunity down if you're sure you have "the guy" already.

I guess the difference is that this Carr has not been hit much, compared to his brother. I just worry that by never letting him throw down the field they are doing just as effective of a job of ruining him.

You are justified to be worried

Oh look Peyton's taking deep shots up 24 points!  I'm sure the press won't accuse him of trying to run the score up!

He's just taking what the defense gives him. /dungy

DJ Haden has looked pretty good for a young guy, I don't mind him getting the work. Of course, I also wouldn't mind one of the Thomas's or Manning getting hurt here.

Wasn't a bad throw. Jump ball to your #1 young superstar in the making in one-on-one coverage.

Yeah, that's well put. Tough to pass judgment on Carr and the easy route would be to keep the faith and either trade the (presumed) #1 overall so can get some talent around Carr. But you make a convincing argument -- even if Carr is a B level QB, the difference between that an A level QB (assuming Mariota is judged to be that) is huge. More than worth a few extra picks.

Going to be a tough call.
