Holy shit, this is awful. What a joke.

Edit: Bad rule, bad call whatever. That needs to be a catch.

What a dumb rule. These guys parse rules likes it's the Supreme Court. Just use common sense.

I don’t even...what is the point of replay? Like, what are we doing here?
I heard discussion of this on radio that made sense. The problem is replay. Once you have replay you need objective rules. Once you have objective rules and eight cameras you have put yourself in a box.

Imagine they said you could replay pass interference? You'd need to invent objective criteria so that replay would have work to do. And it would be absurd.

The only solution is to make catch/no catch a judgment call. Even if you change the going to ground rule or any other aspect of catch no catch you put yourself right back in another box. Just let refs call it like they see it and save replay for only whether it hit the ground, out of bounds -- actual objective stuff -- instead of writing objective rules for a judgment.

Just play it once at full speed and have a panel of five hit a button with their first impression.

If the defense ever bitches again about the offense not keeping them off the field, they should be reminded of this game.

Wilson should be fined for that-disregarding the officials order to get a concussion check. If players don't care, why should we?

I think the concussion protocol during the game only applies to relatively unimportant players, or if the game is not close.

Also, if Bruce Arians is allowed to coach while concussed every week why can't Russell Wilson play concussed?

Seattle didn't believe Arians wasn't going to pull something there, left most of the defense on the field

A win on Thursday night is still a win, but man these games are shitty, for the teams and the fans. Couple of first downs and Seattle can try to just put this shit show behind them.

Maybe extend the season a week and every team gets a second bye before their Thursday game?

Huh. Byron Leftwich in the Cardinals QB coach. I did not know that.
