Wasn't Today Truck Day?

I feel like there was a debate a few years ago about whether or not to "celebrate" truck day on this board, but more importantly, there is no "Spring Training 2015" megathread in which to post such things yet this year. The last few years it happened around Feb 4/5, and usually requires some pictures of a notably trimmer version of a particular athelete. This year we have the off-season game thread instead taking up such posts, but as the official reporting dates approach, it might be time to get that ball rolling...

I think a lot of it is the Patriots Super Bowl run. We're less eager to be on to the next season!

For me personally, Truck Day lost its innocent appeal when it became Truck Day Presented By JetBlue.

I'm sure 40 ft of snow on the ground make spring feel pretty far off as well

It had a few years worth of innocent appeal, but not much.  I think it started in 2003, and JetBlue sponsored it in 2009 or 2010.  And until the sponsorship, basically nobody had heard of it outside the tiny hardcore.  Google searches for "Truck Day":

And that picture is from this year?  Where's the snow??
JetBlue was so sad to see Saltalamacchia go, that they'd already given up on the 2014 season by February but were still hoping for the best in 2015.
