When Krejci is back, Campbell has to sit right? Spooner has been too good offensively.

Marchand-Bergeron-Smith
Soderberg-Krejci-Eriksson
Lucic-Spooner-Pastrnak
Talbot-Kelly-Paille

Is a really good and deep forward group that can win a lot of ways.
Not a snowball's chance in hell of Campbell sitting.

I like this.

Which is why it will likely never happen.

Spooner is the best player they have had on the half wall since Marc Savard.

Also, sweet dive.

He's pretty much already gone. Seriously.
I disagree. The easiest way for Chiarelli to keep his job is if a couple guys he drafted like Spooner & Pastrnak turn into players this month and they win a round or two. I'm sure that's being communicated to the coach who would likely go with him.

Two straight games with 2 PP goals. Before yesterday it had been since October with multiple PP goals in a game.

Spooner is most valuable to them on the PP. He was good in the role a year ago and this year.

I called it! Claude double shifting to keep Pastrnak off the ice
And it was refreshing to not have to see that line spend the entire shift in their own zone for once today.

Do you trust him to protect a lead?
Exactly. 18 year old kid not looking great in his own end in the 3rd period of a back to back. Most coaches would sit him right now.

You're up 5-3, I don't think it's the time to screw with lines.

But I was posting mostly in jest anyway.
Isn't a tight game late the perfect time to screw with lines to optimize maximum defensive ability?
