12:30 match up against the Wings at the Garden. Let's complete the four point weekend.

Note that the game is on NBC.

Also, that Quincey on marchand play... if it's the other way around, is there any doubt that Marchand sits for 2?

Could it be that fresh off the heels of killing themselves in a regular season to win the President's Cup and then bowing out in the first round, this team is "slow-playing" it this year?

Considering they made it to the second round last year, I doubt it.

Pasta mixing it up after the whistle. I love this kid.

I'm with you.  He has something about his game that makes you really root for him.

Ah, yeah. Brain fart. That wasn't the thrust of my point, though.
Either way, I'm not sure the pan was to be fighting for their playoff lives with 16 games to go.  I don't think if has been "slow-playing" they've just been injured and wildly inconsistent.

They have been playing better lately, but I don't think it is because they threw a switch and were all of a sudden a different team.

The kid line is prone to lengthy d zone shifts. Skilled as hell, but that's the one draw back.

Krug and Hamilton were caught out there as well, which never helps

The Detroit goal looked like it may have clipped a bit of McQuaid on the way to the net.

Wow.  Obvious interference against Loui..no call, he gets up and immediately gets called himself.

They do, but I feel like they generally do a pretty good job of keeping the play to the outside when they do.  Obviously spending a full minute in the defensive zone isn't optimal, but do you think the chances of them getting better in this part of their game the longer they play together are good?

If a Spooner-Pasta-whoever line can learn how to play some defense it is going to be a killer line someday.

Yeah, I imagine that's what he was saying to the ref on his way to the box.
