I think part of the problem is that there are a lot of El Tri fans who bought tickets and no-showed tonight after Mexico lost in the SF.

Only one replay but the foul on Reyna looked yellow/orange in real time to me. One of those plays where when the ref is occupied with having to decide whether to play advantage he doesn’t give a card. I suppose if it was as bad as I thought, the assistant might have had something to say about it but I guess didn’t.
Broadcast team also doesn’t seem hooked in to VAR because they had no idea what was being checked while the ref was holding up play after a scrum in the box late in the half.

LDLT coming on for Gio, who limped off at the end of the 1st half. Stay healthy, Gio. Hopefully Callaghan is just being very cautious at this point.
Hope so, he looked off balance from the shove when he took the contact. Just re watching end of half and Gio definitely significantly limped after time ends.

Three of our best players not on for a final because of shithousery by two teams that were losing. They have themselves to blame for retaliating against Mexico but this is still such bullshit. The foul that injured Reyna was late and heavy.
Unfortunately a top strategy against us is to hack like crazy and wait for retaliation when our guys take offense.
Excluding Messi and Mbappé, I think Balogun and David are the two best attacking players in Ligue 1. I still can’t believe Southgate didn’t even put up a fight.
Once Balogun has had time to make the small adjustments to his USMNT teammates' habits and gets that last 10% of chemistry down, look out.
When you look at it objectively, the USMNT’s only flaw is that its best* player’s parents attempted to blackmail the manager. Other than that minor detail, I see no weaknesses.
