Well there's the time when his coach calls him a pile of shit for not doing the drills right, the time he gets called "fucking dirty" for not wearing the right clothes, the time other pitchers on his team threw balls at his back from the outfield for being "fresh," the time he gets called out for being late to a meeting, the time he threatened the same pitcher mentioned above with a baseball bat, the time his pitching coach called him out on the mound for causing a fight for no reason, called him a piece of shit and made him apologize to his teammates, called him a "cancer in the clubhouse," and the time he got pranked in the middle of the night by a teammate pretending he was being called up to the majors. That's all before he got called up for the first time. Do you want me to skip ahead to where he asked for his release when he wasn't called up at the end of spring training in 1993?
But if you want to argue that Fernandez hasn't been better than Pedro through their age 22 seasons, knock yourself out. You should definitely go back and read the parts of Pedro's book that you must have missed. They're great.
