The best approach is to create a new TB-specific game day thread each Sunday, like the weekly NFL one.So are we game threading Tampa in the regular weekly NFL thread? Or do you plan to unlock the other thread in time for the game each week?

I need to remember this during next year's fantasty football. My draft priority since all my players get injured is to figure out which players are a threat to the Patriots and to take them. Unfortunately, Mahomes and Jackson were already gone.
“I thought he played fine,” he said, via NFL Network’s Mike Giardi. “There was some time he was matched up against (Saints defensive end) Cam Jordan. … We would have liked to have seen a little more push but we’ll take a stalemate.”
What kind of criticism is that? We all know Gronk is a really good blocker for a TE, but Jordan is one of the best pass rushers in the NFL, and Arians expected him to be pancaking him on every play? He hasn't played football in 18 months!Don't think Gronk wasn't getting some of the Arians treatment as well.

To go from possibly not having a season to witnessing the Tompa Bay + Cam sagas is quite delicious. He's a coach so... I'm a player... just trying to win a game
I'm just a player, standing in front of a coach, asking that coach to love me.He's a coach so... I'm a player... just trying to win a game
It really is...........................Cam is an incredibly easy person to like, I am hoping he plays well enough for the organization to want to sign him long term.To go from possibly not having a season to witnessing the Tompa Bay + Cam sagas is quite delicious.
"“I never even had to ask Bill [Belichick], he’d just send an intern my way to debrief me. Bruce hasn’t said anything about it yet, but I need to hunker down in the film room with the exact plays and audibles that the defense is running. It takes a while to memorize all that, so hopefully coach sends some tape my way soon.” At press time, Brady decided to fly his own cameraman to film the Panther’s practice after a terse meeting with Arians."
That’s so good. Hey, if you can’t laugh at your own team, you have no sense of humor.
Nope, didn't catch that, just assumed it was real based on the way things have gone so far.(You know that's an Onion article, right?)
I mean. . . .Nope, didn't catch that, just assumed it was real based on the way things have gone so far.
I thought it best to express a mea culpa vs being myopic.I mean. . . .
I knew it was the onion but missed that he wanted the other teams practice tape which was the true lol...if I had missed the onion part on the first read I would have believed it as well.I thought it best to express a mea culpa vs being myopic.
I'm growing as a person and I've got SOSH to thank for it.
So there you have it.
The "terse meeting with Arians" is what really sucked me in; again, seems about right for what's going on down there now.................I knew it was the onion but missed that he wanted the other teams practice tape which was the true lol...if I had missed the onion part on the first read I would have believed it as well.
Heh. I could easily have done that.I thought it best to express a mea culpa vs being myopic.

There's always a risk some offhand remark gets overblown, so I hear where you are coming from. But in this case, with two decades of knowledge of how Brady works, I think it was pretty foreseeable this would be "something." How big, I think that's really really hard to know and I don't think we'll learn very much in-season---I think there's zero examples of Brady getting public about that. But we might learn more later....and of course, we don't know if it will continue or if Arians will change his typical open approach at least as to Brady.I thought the whole Brady v. Arians thing was overblown but it doesn't seem like a complete nothing-burger either:

May I ask why? It's always been a question during his career. Maybe Brady wanted to prove the opposite by going to Tampa. If he fails there he opened himself up to the questions.I hopeBrady comes back with a great game and the Saints are a great team and everyone realizes he started the season with his biggest challenge after no pre-season.
I certainly don’t want his career overshadowed with questions of his legitimacy outside of Bill’s bubble.
If Brady fails in Tampa, an overwhelming majority of knowledgeable fans and pundits will attribute the failure to Tom being 43. He is still a guaranteed first ballot entry.May I ask why? Right. Who cares what other less informed fans think. They're the same mouthbreathers that believe DFG was real.If Brady fails in Tampa, an overwhelming majority of knowledgeable fans and pundits will attribute the failure to Tom being 43. He is still a guaranteed first ballot entry.
Because he's 43 and this isn't normal Brady.May I ask why? It's always been a question during his career. Maybe Brady wanted to prove the opposite by going to Tampa. If he fails there he opened himself up to the questions.
Eh. If that happens he brought it upon himself.Because he's 43 and this isn't normal Brady.
I'm not saying he's not First Ballot, but the "Peyton is better" stuff will almost certainly crop back up. He EXCELLED when he went to a different team at the end of his career. Etc. etc.
Time will stop that, but until then - it'll be a topic.
Yeah, this is about where I am at, but with Bourque I more just felt pathetic caring about the Avs.Planned on rooting for him, ended up rooting against him.
I can't really put my finger on why. I love the guy. Fully planned on being a Tampa guy this year. But when the game started, it slowly shifted and I found myself rooting for the Saints and I absolutely hate the Saints. I guess it's some bitterness? I also rooted against Ray Bourque when he left the Bruins for some unexplained reason.
Not the final season he didn't. In his age 39 season Manning threw 9 TDs and 17 INTs and had a passer rating of 67.9.Because he's 43 and this isn't normal Brady.

And won a Super Bowl. Not the final season he didn't. In his age 39 season Manning threw 9 TDs and 17 INTs and had a passer rating of 67.9.
