Remind me again which team(s) among Colorado, American, Wisconsin and Pittsburgh are "west coast" schools?
Colorado had 10 wins in the pac-12 my friend

Colorado should be used to being down 46-19; that's about what their football team usually loses by.

Anybody got a good link where you can follow how many entries are still alive in the Buffet challenge?  My google-fu is weak, keeps only getting results from before the contest closed.

So does Pitt give UF a game on Saturday?

I absolutely think so.  They seem to be playing with house money since the miracle comeback at Clemson.  Patterson and Zanna both red hot.

The yahoo site says it won't update til Monday, which is kinda lame if so.

This site: http://www.takebuffettsbillion.com/ which has 7800+ unique entries should update soon...

Boulder is 819 miles from the ocean. However they do blow, so it looks like you win half a point.
the point, my friend, is that they racked up a bunch of wins against shitboxes on the coast

FWIW, ESPN is saying that in their pools, only 19.7% of entries picked Dayton. I would imagine the Buffet challenge is close to that.

One game goes final, 80% of entries eliminated.

Keep your billion Buffett

It was dumb of him to do this. He doesn't need the press and there is no chance of winning. This is something that Trump would do. not Buffett.

Wish I entered the Buffett competition. My bracket is still perfect and everyone winning at the moment I picked. I know it won't last, but it's pretty sweet.

He really is one of the most annoying voices in sports media. With Bill Conlin dead, Gottlieb might be at the apex of that mountain.

It's marketing & data gathering for one of his portfolio companies, Quicken I believe.

They were 10-8 in conference games; barely above .500. The Pac-12 was really Arizona and everyone else. I'd award you a full point. =p

After a whole 5 games? That's impressive.

I recall someone a few years ago who was adamant he picked a perfect bracket once. That was funny.

BYU has spazzed their way to a big deficit. Ugly basketball from a team that is supposed to be able to score.

This Syracuse team is completely different when Cooney is shooting well.  With him shooting well, they're as good a bet to win it all as anyone.  When he's not, they just aren't that great a team.

Harvard's answer to the press is for everyone to run away from the ball. I don't get it. Also, the ticky tack calls are really fucking annoying, especially when clean plays are getting whistled.

I agree Jed. They called the Dayton game crazy close as well. Harvard's press break is "find the point guard and flee." I don't get it either

Also, why doesn't the NCAA streaming site show the scores of the other games somewhere?

Slow start for the Gators. Albany is off to a 9-5 lead over Florida, and they've already played 5:30.

How awesome it would be to see a third of the entrants wiped out of Murf's pool by dinner time.

Ha. I wanted it to be Harvard's ball, but I like Gottleib being wrong.
