Ghost obviously. Looks really solid and confident, which is important given how much he gets in his own head when things trend the other way.
(Quick kicker note: Could we maybe try to NOT be so simplistic about Folk's misses? The game plays out differently, ditto for play calling by the Pats, if he makes any of those. Butterfly effect counts.)
McCourty seemed to be in on a lot of plays tonight, and not just bad ones this week! Definitely showed some fired up leadership, too. Keep it up, overpaid nice man.
Dion/Gilly - both showed burst, dynamism and toughness between the tackles, and neither fumbled. I'd like to see what they can do behind a line that isn't S H I T. Need to see a LOT more of D-Lew.
HoganDola - solid route running, great hands, big plays. Bravo. Bless you.
Brady - never, ever stops. I'll forgive that horrendous INT, and blame the OL for the fumble. Cool?
Gilmore on Evans - nicely done, maybe wrap up when tackling, but yeah, an impressive job against a superior WR. Meanwhile, maybe his teammates can shut the F up, getting on media members who had the temerity to criticize him for being LEGITIMATELY AWFUL. I appreciate the circling of wagons and sticking up for teammates, but the idea that tonight retroactively constitutes an "I told you so" moment for Gilmore is a fucking joke. He was crap. Tonight he wasn't crap. Probably nodding humbly and quietly bucking him up is a better idea.
Flowers. He's kind of our only friend on defense through the first five games. Good job, kid.
Edit: some mess-ups.
