I put the list as follows:
1. Brady....beside the interception, he was consistent and evaded pressure quite a bit. I saw a lot of side-stepping rushers, just enough to either buy time for a completion, throw the ball away and avoid a sack, or even rushing it in for the touchdown. He remained composed the entire game, and really showed his veteran leadership.
2. Amendola....a long time waiting, but quite the breakout game at the right time.
3. Josh McDaniels....I thought at halftime that they should revert to the Bledsoe 1994 75-pass game and abandon the run. I had no idea they would really do it, but I give him credit for adjusting quite nicely to what was not working and utilizing what did work. The Edelman pass play was just an example, but they were consistently good in the second half.
4. Fans at the game....I know some of you were there, and one of my best friends was in the second row to the top. He said the crowd was electric and it appeared louder than I can recall, which must have had an effect. At the least, I tip my cap for those that stuck it out in 10-15 degree weather and stayed positive throughout. If the team fed off of the crowd, then they couldn't have quit.
Aside: Similar to SSF and H78.....My "Jets fan" girlfriend bought me an official grey Belichick hoodie of which I wore for karma. After we were down 28-14 (and questioning whether or not she had given me the equivalent of tainted kryptonite), NBC showed clips of the Pats past Super Bowls. I noticed that after the last one they won, BB was wearing a grey one with the sleeves rolled inward (not cut; not normally rolled up). So I figured that was the missing piece....so I rolled it inward, and the Pats mounted the comeback and tied it at 28-28. After the Ravens' FG to be 31-28, I rolled further and the rest was history. So, perhaps #5 on the list is a tie between H78's laptop cord/battery, SSF's podcast deletions, and my grey BB hoodie with the sleeves rolled in.
