I love when the Chiefs are getting called, it’s too much but when they benefit, it’s they are too much to handle.
There probably have been. But the calls on KC have been correct.Please...And there haven’t been defensive holding by the Bucs that could have been called? Of course there has...but these calls have been game changing. Reminds me of the 2005 divisional game against the Broncos.
Ooooh that makes sense thanks. It's the same service that is changing the name. And adding the Viacom networks.
Agreed but Chiefs are making their own bed by holding all the time, so refs are extra sensitive to it.View: https://twitter.com/codybtapp/status/1358584891621986307?s=19
Yeah, the endzone PI was... not good.
Especially if he were being grabbed around the anklesTacko Fall on a ladder wouldn't have been able to reach that ball
Look at the gif that was just posted, it wasn't even close to catchableWhen you figure in that he was moving at something like 15 MPH I think it’s pretty tough to argue credibly that Evans couldn’t let alone someone taller. Complaining about that being uncatchable is pretty ridiculous for you and for Romo, I don’t think many football people will question that call
He's got great music.Anyway who is the weekend
I wish someone had asked, "So, Boomer, which of those calls did you think wasn't a penalty?"Boomer sewing the seeds of a conspiracy!
The receiver wasn’t allowed to turn in because - drum roll please - the defender was preventing him. DPIView: https://twitter.com/codybtapp/status/1358584891621986307?s=19
Yeah, the endzone PI was... not good.
Cheffers crews also called the most penalties per game last season so this isn't unexpected tonightAgreed, though all the rest are pretty undeniable.
They got confused and thought the Patriots were winningYou don't hear the NFL broadcast partners ball out the refereeing during a game like that too often.
Now his takes over in the port cellar make more sense. @scottyno ia off his fucking rocker with salt.Salt
Cheffers hasn't had a single flag, and not one person calling the game is on his normal crew so that seems pretty irrelevant.Cheffers crews also called the most penalties per game last season so this isn't unexpected tonight
It’s not Cheffers crew.Cheffers crews also called the most penalties per game last season so this isn't unexpected tonight
I thought you were talking about the long pass. I think (and already said) the one in the end zone was shaky call. But the one in the end zone is also not a very impactful call. But it is clearly holding past 5 yards and thus catchable shouldn’t matter.Look at the gif that was just posted, it wasn't even close to catchable
we just said the exact same thing.Vocals seem way lowIs it just me or is the audio totally fucked?
It is INSANE to me that CBS isn't addressing the fact that the name is being changed. This is exactly how HBO screwed it up.Ooooh that makes sense thanks.
Facts are dumbKC is actually committing penalties though.
I thought the same.Is it just me or is the audio totally fucked?
It’s The Weeknd -no third “e.” Big props from me for having dated both Selena Gomez and Bella Hadid. He's got great music.
Although I confess that I learned today that The Weekend is a person, not a band.
I really don’t get it since they are getting the second half kickoff.Chiefs TO strategy was a little reminiscent of 4th and 13 in the game we don’t talk about or the Chung fake punt in the playoff game against the Jets. Dumb decisions born of frustration at your explosive offense getting shut down.
when you have 6 seconds left and no timeouts having the ball at the 1 or the 5 makes a pretty big differenceI thought you were talking about the long pass. I think (and already said) the one in the end zone was shaky call. But the one in the end zone is also not a very impactful call
The problem is TB is not called for clutching/grabbing they are doing, and the interference call on Mathieu in the end zone was just ridiculous. It’s really weird that the default response for a game when there is a lot of penalties is “the refs should call fewer penalties” instead of “the Chiefs should stop committing penalties.”
Truewhen you have 6 seconds left and no timeouts having the ball at the 1 or the 5 makes a pretty big difference
This. Also, he doesn't have great music. Occasionally good, maybe. It’s The Weeknd -no third “e.”
When was the last time a ref picked up a pass interference flag because it was later determined the pass was uncatchable? Evans route was cut off when Brady was throwing.Yeah that was a throwaway pass, wasn't even a legit attempt.
Yeah, exactly. This is awful.we just said the exact same thing.Vocals seem way low
That video makes it look pretty clear to me. If he was unimpeded, that ball looks like it exits the endzone about 3 feet below the crossbars. That puts the ball around 7 feet, which is perfectly catchable.View: https://twitter.com/codybtapp/status/1358584891621986307?s=19
Yeah, the endzone PI was... not good.
the play they subsequently run scores a TD either way, so I continue to disagree. Clock stopped either way so unless you don’t understand the rules those are both irrelevantwhen you have 6 seconds left and no timeouts having the ball at the 1 or the 5 makes a pretty big difference
Nah, greatThis. Also, he doesn't have great music. Occasionally good, maybe.
Heh. I had my friends HBO GO for years and tried to go in randomly recently and it wouldn’t load the app. And that’s how I found out.It is INSANE to me that CBS isn't addressing the fact that the name is being changed. This is exactly how HBO screwed it up.
But I guess CBS doesn't have as many subscribers and I also assume it will just shift over to Paramount Plus for current subscribers, which is the opposite of what happened with HBO Max, which required a completely new app and very little clarity on who did and didn't have it.
Love it, the “make up calls” aren’t penalties but the ones called on KC are.The risk is now Mahomes starts throwing Flaccos and getting "make-up" and balance it out, calls
