NE: 94 yards. How slanted are the penalties going to be next week? Excited!
It will be vomit-inducing.Yeah, expect the refs to pull some serious bullshit next week. Its a mortal lock.
3 to 1 ratio; wish I could get some Vegas odds on that.NE: 94 yards.
DEN: 32.
Of this there can be no doubt. There's going to be serious horseshit next week, mark my words.
It's all about the revenue dollars leading up to the game, young man.Don't know what the point would be of getting Denver into the SB to be stomped.
I think he meant New England 94 net yards after penalties, Denver 32 points.3 to 1 ratio; wish I could get some Vegas odds on that.
Brady going for 5 is much bigger than a worse QB going for 2.It's all about the revenue dollars leading up to the game, young man.
NFL can't lose either way. This is what they wanted.Brady going for 5 is much bigger than a worse QB going for 2.
I couldn't believe he said that. I missed the part where he became CJ Anderson for a play.Manning,"I got that touchdown." What an ass.
True and this is a concern; images of past games keep recurring. It will be key for a healthy Pats offense to build an early lead, force Manning to throw more, win the turnover game, and not allow the game to get close enough to allow any odd call have an impact. Will be four hours of stress, but the Pats team of yesterday should be able to do it.......serenity now...Yeah, expect the refs to pull some serious bullshit next week. Its a mortal lock.
Right -- a quick check didn't reveal fares that would trump my using my miles.Yeah on tickets bought 14 days in advance...
Doesn't matter. Game called fairly, nobody cares or remembers that muff.Just remember, the penalties wouldn't have mattered without some dude named Chris Harper.
Wtf? I missed this, what was his exact quote?I couldn't believe he said that. I missed the part where he became CJ Anderson for a play.
We gave HFA away against the Eagles. It is that simple. Easily top 5 UnPatriot-like performance in the last 16 years.Just remember, the penalties wouldn't have mattered without some dude named Chris Harper.
Ahh schucks, ya know what he's tryin' to say...I couldn't believe he said that. I missed the part where he became CJ Anderson for a play.
Manning,"I got that touchdown." What an ass.
Wtf? I missed this, what was his exact quote?
The exact quote was "I got that touchdown." In fairness, Peyton went on to say the defense guided us to this victory and he is honored to being on the same team as them. He also quoted BB.Wtf? I missed this, what was his exact quote?
"We didn't give them any short fields, and obviously when we needed it we had a big drive and I got that touchdown that really put us up."Wtf? I missed this, what was his exact quote?
Thank you. I heard the "on to New England" belichick homage."We didn't give them any short fields, and obviously when we needed it we had a big drive and I got that touchdown that really put us up."
I didn't, I figured drops are pretty subjective and it wasn't entirely fair to bet on an outcome like that.@Dogman2 Did you accept that bet? I only saw one drop in the second half.
Still kinda nervous.I'm nervous.
Anybody else here nervous?
Deal.I didn't, I figured drops are pretty subjective and it wasn't entirely fair to bet on an outcome like that.
Let's split your initial idea of $20 and the children benefit, deal?
I still hate that onside kick.We gave HFA away against the Eagles. It is that simple. Easily top 5 UnPatriot-like performance in the last 16 years.
But they could want Manning to get one in his last year in the league (is he really coming back next year?).Brady going for 5 is much bigger than a worse QB going for 2.

That game was terrible but I think it's too easy to assign blame. The last quarter—even third—of the season the roster was a complete mess, which impacted everything. Guys were playing positions or carrying workloads they were unfamiliar with. Special teams, normally a strength for this franchise, was raided for starters on both sides of the ball and it showed. Game plans had become so simple and vanilla out of necessity – and more reliant on trick or surprise plays to compensate.I still hate that onside kick.
Plus, if they got the #1 seed they would have played Pittsburgh this weekend, and who knows what would have happened if they had -- they likely would have won, but maybe Brady or Gronk or Edelman gets knocked out for the season. They came out of the KC game relatively healthy ("relatively" being a key word). We should be grateful for that. That game was terrible but I think it's too easy to assign blame. I get why it's frustrating. It was to me as well. But the idea that they just "gave HFA away" is wrong. There is no "right way" to manage roster devastation at the scale this team faced. Honestly, we should be thankful on some level that they ended up with the second seed with as many guys coming back to full or mostly full health as they are.
